Over watering or Nitrogen Claw

Out of 6 strains not sure about one of the plants. They are 4 weeks into flower. Five of them seem to show signs of low nitrogen, but one has leaves that are curling under. It looks like this could be over watering or too much nitrogen. I would hope it's not too much nitrogen because all the others seem to want more.

Just not sure why this one (Big Blue Cheese) has the leaves curling under.

Thanks

It's from the blue in the cheese...you need to try and give it less...and she will give you more.

what media are you in? what kind of nutrients and at what levels

def i agree looks like overwatering perhaps, but is the rest of the plant showing any limp leaves or droopiness in addition to leaf tips elongated and curled? has your media been over watered recently or otherwise low on o2 in the rootzone?

second pic kind of looks like low temp leaf curl - low temps equal slow growth and plants drink less, which sometimes leads to overwatering and rootzones that are short on O2.

Happy Frog soil, Aurora Soul nutrients. Just a 5' x 5' area 65-75 degrees, does drop at night. The other 5 look good.

if you can back off on waterings and nutrients that might be a good idea, also raising the temps might not be a bad idea, if possible

What size pot? To me it looks like low ph and root bound. I would do a late transplant into some cheap soil with perlite , bone, blood meal some worm castings and a lil guano.

Only 3 gallon pots. My 24 hour tap water pH is about 7-8, so I thought I was ok. Once I add nutrients it seems to drop to about 5.5. I will keep a better eye on the water I add and the soil measurement of the pH.

Some strains are really picky. Personally I like to grow easy vigorous plants. Of course there are other factors like potency, smell, bag appeal, easy processing. Although if a plant is so picky it never makes it to harvest healthy, then nothing else matters anyways.

Happy Frog is a bit to dense. You didn't mention if you use it straight out of the bag, but I would suggest next time to add some aeration. Can add both coco and perlite, adjust the perlite until you find that happy medium of drying out quickly but not to fast.

Cant pin point it, but if I had to guess. Picky strain, not enough aeration leading to over watering, leading to some sort of nutrient issues. Can be a downward spiral, once the plant starts to get unhealthy it stops drinking the water as fast.

At least 5/6ths looks nice, can always ditch that picky clone next run.

2 CF Happy Frog
2 CF Coco
1-2 CF Perlite
25# worm castings
4 cup Bone Meal
4 cup dolomite lime
1.25 cup blood meal
2 cup kelp
1 cup azomite

Thats an adjusted recipe based on BlazeOneUps ez soil mix. Easy mix, and works well imo.

Also another random suggestion. Since you are in soil, going organic, or at least somewhat organic. Compost tea, is an excellent addition. It really helps balance stuff out in the soil, and keep everything chugging along and happy. It can be as complicated or as simple as you like. If you get the time should do some digging in on the subject. "Teaming with Microbes," is a good read. Getting your soil to come to life makes such a difference, its much easier to let the soil feed the plants what they need, versus you being a mad chemist and trying to feed the plant the exact ph/formula. Unless you enjoy being a mad chemist, then maybe try going with pure Coco/hydro.
