over-fertilization or under-fertilization

Hi there,

i used google and forums but couldnt get a possible solution but my problem is progressing...

Started from the top.

2x Blackberry and 1x CC54 in day 21 after switching to 12/12.

I used organic fertilizer, always 25-50% of the instructions provided, only added a bit of magnesium sulfate in my water pot. (3x knifepoints on 10 l water)

Anyone an idea?

PS: pls advise if i managed to delete those exif details correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Hi al,

doesnt have a more sharp one, very old cam.
tips are in kinda "rusty" color, prolly necrotic (!?)

Its affecting only the tips around the leaf, partially a few spots on too.

Flushing will be very hard cause they mostly tied to the net due to the big stretch.

Calcium Deficiency: First visible in newer growth, leaf tips will die, tips may curl, growth is stunted. there will be a weakness in stems/branches. underdeveloped roots, and bacteria problems can arise. *can be cuased by too much potassium/nitrogen* calcium deficiency is commonly mistaken for over ferting. its key to notice in these pics that early stages of deficiency appear in the serrated edges/tips of the leaves, but its not just a death/necrosis, its a small circular spots of death, not just burn marks. young leaves will develop dwarfing, a strap-like shape, and shoots stop growing and thicken.

Nute burn and probably lockout from wrong PH values. Have you measured the PH of water? The magnesium sulphate will drive the PH down substantially.

Have you tried flushing with R/O water yet? What's in your organic fert? Most will contain traces of calcium.

i'm not sure about organics but when switching to flower with chemical nutes I've been advised to cut back a little, it sure looks like nute burn

i can just measure the ph of the earth and its depending on watering time 7+ ,
providing to a plant 3x day 120ml / each , they around 90 cm now.

(iam just having some jiffy fertilizer with npk 7-3-6 byside of my old alga bloom 1,5-13-14)

had a little dosis of valerian brew containing little nitrogen in my tank too but i wonder if this could cause some overfertilization but i dried the earth one day after setting up my new drip system.

so what to do - give stuff or flush

I wouldn't flush them tdk, just feed them until your getting about 25 % run off n see how they get on.

once again tdk, i'm not sure about organic nutes, you know yourself, just don't give them as much as you usually do until they recover, goodluck

U should be fine to feed at 10-15 ml per gallon of water every day, IMO. Try it one or two plants if u aren't sure and see the difference.
