Over ferted plant so I transplanted it

So I accidentally over fertilized some of my plants with insoluble urea and it appeared to be slowly killing them from the bottom up. Some already died and others were looking wilted and leaves were yellowing and dying a lil at a time so I decided that transplanting them was my best option to try to save them. If it doesn't work I guess they were gonna die anyhow. This also gave me an opportunity to up pot them to a larger size. When I took them out of bad soil I took as much dirt(,and urea pellets,) off the top as I could without destroying football. What's the chances they'll be okay???

Try it and see. Not sure why the pellets. Keep the root ball intact as much as you can.

Don't fertilize for a while....use good organic soil mixed w/ perlite.

Good luck!

I did something similar with an Apollo 11 F3.

One female seedling was just not liking her soil, Foxfarm Ocean Forest. A grower neighbor suggested just really rinsing the soil.

So I gave it maybe 6 or 7 rinses total.

She responded by giving me some of the best buds I've gotten from an Apollo 11.

The soil was just a little hot for her, and rinsing helped.

Might be similar to your soil + urea situation, if I understand it right.
