outdoors plants lights sensetivity at night

I'm wondering whats the threshold for light sensitivity at night time for outdoor plants?

i have a basketball court nearby,
with MH projectors facing my balcony
until now i have been stretching the girls;
keeping them from passing the balconies edge,
once they do; they will be in direct contact with the lights during the night time,
the lights turn off a midnight; but i'm still extremely concerned about them stressing from this
to the point I'm contemplating disabling the light in someway

lol
i think i would just try to add stuff to higher the balconies edges
i don't know how much they will effect your plants but that's what i would do
find either plants to put on the balcony edge to block the edges or something else that is acceptable

it has been said that if a cannabis plant is under enough light that you can read a newspaper when it is in its dark-period, it will cause it to lower flowering rate.

I dunno if stoning the court's lights is a good idea, as you never know if there is a camera somewhere that may catch you in the act.

you can always buy those bamboo-like curtains at home center to do what angeldust suggested; not as cheap, but a lot safer.

you can also tie them ladies down, also cheaper and less problematic.

good luck!

אני מכיר בחור שגידל בגינה שלו אבל הצמחים לא פרחו בגלל מנורת פלורוסנט של המרפסת,מבחן הסף של האור זה האור של ירח מלא

my balcony is on the third floor with moderate winds throughout the day
i have been tying them girls down as much as possible
but due to the winds they have been stiffing up throughout their growth
its at the point i cant stretch or tie them down any lower
the tips starting to pass the balconies edge past few days

i think my only route other then one mentioned is to LST
which im not happy about one bit

like my friend bombadil suggested,a good bamboo screen,or a few reguler bushy plants may help you make a shadow
i'd either use plants or really just put a screen there, maybe a cheap closet or i donno
be creative
but damaging lights for your own growth is not something i would suggest
there is such a thing as karma, meaning you never know what will those broken lights bring, maybe the police will make a round near the neighberhood
don't be foolish about this
always prefer to use passive means rather than active ones
that's what i think anyways, especially when growing something illigel
this is the time to be a good boy jerusalem like they say
because your idea just sound like two steps before jail for a plant
hope you find a creative way that doesn't damage other things man
i'm sure there is one

dont get me wrong,
i poked around and contemplated other routes which didn't pan out

i'm renting here, so i can add anything to the structure

i'm at a high floor with not so subtle winds
i cant put anything there that's not bolted

i have nowhere to mount the bamboo to,
unless i create bolted posts on top of the balconies sidings

buying long pots only solves half the issue because they will get higher
and it doesn't block the general lights the projectors emitting

contacting the authorities is out of the question,
i will most likely get something back like close your window if the lights bother you,
on top of the time consuming correspondence

i'm open to suggestions

you can buy cement and make molds to keep the fence in place, before you leave break the mold with a hammer and throw the broken cement back
works for u?

that's asking the owners to snoop around
beside i cant venture into any cash investments at this point

breaking lights is asking worse from where i'm looking
and with the price
how much is cement and 4 plastic buckets?
and sand and bamboo
i donno how close the owners are but unless they are next door neighbours, what would make you think he would see it?
anyways no reason to force it
do as you decide but i would not choose breaking those lights, they might replace them quikly and what then? you go break them again? that plan sounds like one step from jail my friend
hope you find a better idea than what i proposed and what you have so far :)
but i think there could be in easier way
good luck man
hope you find a simple solution soon

not to get ahead of myself
went down the Bball court after the lights went off
i can gladly report the lights have been safely disabled
without any damage to the projectors or the post; i found the service hatch,
once i opened it, i found three breakers waiting to be switched off!!!

:ying:

LOL
criminal :)
anyways i hope it stays that way through the whole process and that nobody comes to snoop around
good week man
