Outdoors in sunny South Africa - interesting question at hand

Greetings to 1 and all.

I have a random question, and it may be the stupidest question to date. I have tried searching but can't come up with any results.

My question is pointed at growing outdoors. I reside in sunny south Africa and we are approaching spring in September.

Right, now I know how the veg and flower stage works. Where the plant will grow till the light starts decreasing when approaching autumn.

My question is, how does 1 find outdoor cannabis throughout the year in my country? Surely, the plants should grow in summer and only start flowering when autumn approaches ? One if the biggest exporters to my country is Swaziland, but still..Swaziland still has the same seasons and light hours daily as we do.

So how do those people manage to harvest through out the year even in summer ? I know for a fact the green we get is outdoor..I watched that strain hunters expenditure on Swaziland, and those people most certainly don't have any cloth or what not to cover the plants to trick them into the 12/12.

So how do they do it ? I would like to grow outdoor, but don't really want to veg for what like 6 month's or whatever may be the case. Would like to veg for around a month or 2 at most.

Thought's, help.or suggestions?

Hope this all makes sense

Some varieties start flowering before the 12/12 so need less darkness(usually 14/10 works for most hybrids), may be that some of them behave like growing indoors on 12/12 from seed.
That means the plant grows until reaching sexual maturity and then starts preflowering because the photoperiod is close enough to 12/12 or whatever triggers the flip.
I think the closer to the equator you are, the more plants behave like this, but since you're in SA the plants will veg normally until late february, early march.
Don't take me to seriously, I'm just a guy from the northern hemisphere, very far from the equator:)

Good luck

Autoflower plants, indoor crops, light dep greenhouses,
These r all ways people pull crops outside of the natural photoperiod /fall harvest

You can get 2 crops a year some of Southern Africa especially with the quicker cultivars ,One crop is bigger/better than the other one usually.
The Farmers don't usually store it for long but The Dealers buy it and store some of it to sell later also ;)
