Looking for some input. I am trying to make feeding easy. I currently running a perpetual outdoor grow. I use fox farm nutes with some canna additives as well as some botanicare additives. Currently I mix 5 gallon buckets of nutes for feeding. Starting to get inconvenient hahaha.
I was looking to make some outdoor reservoirs out of coolers.
Weather here in Hawaii is 60-85 F pretty much year round. My concern was the temperature in the res raising too high from the partial sunny location.
I was looking at getting 2 - 100 quart coolers. One for veg plants and one for flowering plants. Maybe throwing a frozen bottle water too keep around 70F. Hopefully I would be mixing my nutes once a week instead of every day.
Anyways. Has anyone seen or used coolers as reservoirs? How would you run plumbing? Would a pump be necessary? Or is gravity a possibility. Blumats? Just seeing if anyone has experience with this kind of a system.
