outdoor pit? multiple crops outdoor

lets say someone where to dig a whole 6'x6' and 3-5' deep, and put plants at the bottum and use a tarp to cover up the pit for 12 hours a day. Now would this work ? you should be able to pull of 2 crops a year( or more depending on how many holes you have )

anyways what do you ourdoor guys think about this ?( or has this been done ? Black-baging-it)

If you dig a hole that big it will get water in it. Even with a sump pump, some groundwater from rains will find its way over there for a day or so. If the grow bags are secured and up on wood blocks it could work, but having a moist hole covered with a tarp on warm days could create some mold issues.
Overplant in the spring and get ur 1 big crop with little care under the sun. Would be much less conspicuous looking and less to worry about.
I have heard of people using a trash can over some plants to get them flowering, but mold could be a problem here too. Ventilation is key.

yeah i'm not actually doing this ... i was just pondering about what could be done. trying to get some ideas flowing . but thats awsome input guys thanks
