Outdoor OG's

about time i started a new thread for these girls
Ok so i got all 3 of these cuts from the same club up in the valley
SFV og, 818 og, and og (Ghost cut)
I mothered em under 24/0
about 2 weeks ago i put em outside to soak up some cali sun
They all stretched a fair amount, and im sure they still got some more stretch left in em.
The ghost cut really kickstarted into flower and stretched like a mofo... I knew she would stretch like crazy, so i cut her back alot before puttin her out, where i didnt trim back the 818 or the sfv.
The SFV got bad fert burn during veg, and i think it caused a mutation of the leaf structure/ stressed it... Cause the clones i took off the mother, are veggin out looking way different than this sfv bush...

Anyways enough of my rambling how bout some pics huh?


Here are all three next to eachother, in order left to right 818,sfv,ghost


Heres the ghost, shes actually showin budsites, and the only one showin full on flowerin. Sure is a lanky stretched out bitch




Just startin to see some trich formation





Next up is the SFV... Doesnt look like she should cause of the stress in veg... but im pretty sure shes the real thing... well see once flowerin really kicks in

and last the 818... Shes one heck of a bush... Was soo dense, ive really had to trim back/groom alot of shadowed branches

I cant wait to see some nice outdoor OG... very interested on how these girls will turn out.

In the meantime

Heres a pic of some clones that came from these mothers...
They were transplanted into cups of soil once roots popped, spent a few days inside under the light and then tossed outside.

They went straight into the stretchin phase, and are lookin like they are just now topping out..
The ghost cut stretched the most, about 2 1/2 times. The SFV just about doubled, and the 818 maybe increased by 50%, so 1 1/2 times.



Ghost is on the left, SFV middle/back and 818 on the right...
Shouldnt yeild very much on these little ones... I kinda just did it as an experiment to see how much each strain stretches

i would ahve to say awsome looking ladies... gonna be killer. outdoor og is some of the best erb on the planet.. cant be mothers light man... im excited to watch these fine ladies do their thing.

I love me some well grown outdoor buds.. and of course i love the OG, definately a fav.. So lets hope it does indeed turn out to be some of the best erb on the planet

Srah - Yea all three of these were a pain in the arse to clone... The sfv surprisingly was the quickest, but thats not saying much... i think the fastest i got roots on the sfv was like 2 weeks. The ghost is such a bitch... Gets soo withered looking before she wants to pop any out. She took me about 18-20days or so, so yea ridiculous. The 818 was the worse of the three took 3+weeks... Some cuts got powdered mildew... Just not a very friendly cloner

As for tips... My friend tells me his sfv really likes the high humidity for the first few days... He was saying like super humid, tape the edges of the dome and the tray... He was claimin he got roots in a week... But he could be bullshittin me... He said he just used rockwool (PHd the water) under a ducktaped dome.

I dunno, i dont think there is much that helps with rooting OGs... They just seem to be a really bitch plant to clone... Also just a real bitch plant to grow in general... She really shows any stress ya give her

Ill prolly take more pics tomorrow.. Try and get some better ones...
The ones i took above were takin real quick and it was cloudy out.

hey Jeff, those plants are looking great. nice for me to have some pictures to compare from... i have a few 818 out and happy to see leaves look right up there with yours... they are really starting to put off some smell just in veg.





heres one that is really starting to take off now.

will be looking forward to watching your flower out, im going to try to keep these going for a while for the maximum yields i can off her.

hey guys. another sunny day here and the girlies are lovin it.

Dime- Your 818 looks great, very very similar. No doubt the same genetic/cut imo... you should prolly be able to get a few more weeks of veg in. She doesnt stretch to crazy bad, and keeps alot shorter internodes than the other 2. You should have a fattty bush by the time they flip

70s - Crazy Killer Kush Trees.. Now that just sounds plain cool. haha

Alright i figured it was about time for a photo update

Things are coming along smoothly...
Looks like the sfv has revegged, looks like its kinda stuck inbetween flower and veg right now, but otherwise lookin healthy.

The 818 is startin to get some decent pistil formations, and the first little bit of trichome coverage has appeared on a few leafs... Should start to get interesting with her rather soon

The ghost is coming along beautifully.. Im stoked to see as much frostyness as there is right now... She just startin to get a skunky reek to her... A few of the pistils have a slight pink hue to them.

Alright enough typing, lets bring on the pics

And heres the SFV, shes just been kicking it... Cant decide wether she wants to flower or keep vegging... Hopefully shell do fine, and wont be stressed

Outdoor OG is my favorite Outdoor herb.
My OG is my favorite out of all of em grown outdoors.
It made me laugh like when I first started smoking weed years ago.

JDOG - You the man! Ive readin your post for a while now, i almost feel like were pals Ive always enjoyed reading you theories into the SocalKush folklore.... And yea, i would be stoked if i could get some real laughy buds from this.... Those uncontrollable laughing fits are honestly some of the best memories i have of being a rookie smoker

Caligreen- Im kinda just lettin em do theyre thing. They were mothers grown under 24/0, so that is why they went into flower, even tho we are having longer days outside right now. When i first put em outside, i covered em with trashcans each night for like a week, but they got too big for that to keep working.... WHen i was covering em, i was doin 11 hour nights... So not quite the 12/12...

The SFV reverted back to veg.... The 818 looks like its going into full on flowering, but its kinda just slowly chillin out, so maybe it cant decide and wants to reveg...
I dont see there being anyway of the ghost going back to veg... if it did i would be very very sad... Cause she already apears to be almost 3 weeks into flower, and really starting to put off a sweetskunkyfruitycitrucy smell, thats just lovely...

So yea, i prolly shoulda waited and put these gals outside later... but they were takin up to much room inside, and needed to be moved for different mothers.... But i was also hoping, i would be able to sneak away with an early harvest.... As of right now... it looks like i might be able to cut down the Ghost pretty early in the season... so im stoked on that...

Anyways, enough ramblings... Thanks for stoppin by everyone!!! i really appreciate it...
