outdoor heat stress???

northeast, outdoor, soil (native, compost, pro mix, osmocote controlled release ferts)

genetics- too many to list... both seed and clone

My area is having an unusually hot and rainless season. still lots of humidity though...

Here's my problem i have multiple plots experiencing strange new growth structure (twisted, curling, ect) as well as established leaves clawing down and twisting or turning (see pics) however the "claw" is reversed from over fert "claw" as in the leaf is canoeing up lengthwise and turning down.

Also the most strange symptom I have occurring all over is ONE "blade" only on a leaf will show the twisting/curling signs way worst than the rest and then soon after shrivel up and die and get moldy, while the remaining "blades" remain healthy. (see pics)

Also red banded leafhopers, stink bugs and grasshoppers are moving in on the stressed out plants to make matters worst.

Temps have been 90f to 95f with full sun and high humidity lately. what do you guys think? ride out the hot weather and see what happens or do I have something serious going on?

I can tell that the rest of the vegetation is quite yellow compared to your plants.
Maybe the natural soil there is very nutrient deficient as well.

Regardless, I say just water those plants a lot more than normal.

any ideas on the twisting, curling? or single blade dying?

as far as watering, i haven't yet and realistically prob couldn't (no water source or access) so far this year the water crystals and praying (haha) have saved me.

You mean there's no water source nearby? Better figure a way to start hauling some.
How far is the nearest creek, pond, swamp, etc.? Without water it's going to get a lot
worse. You should have planted closer to water.

not my first rodeo... In my area too much rain is the norm, this is just some crazy climate change weather. Can't build the season plan on one wacky season. also none of the girls are hurting for water because 1) water crystals 2) just barely enough rain 3) cannabis likes way less water than the native plants in my area. hence they are the only green things in the field.

In a normal year the girls are always fighting overwatered conditions

Yeah I would haul water also, by truck, four wheeler, side by side, mule, horse how ever you have to do it! Usually when heat is an issue the plants just shrivel get extremely yellow and die! I suspect there is another issue better get a really good microscope I've seen this before leaves twisting, single blades dying too me sounds like broad mites... I know I always say that but I truly believe more growers have broad mites then even know about it good luck.....

thanks for the trying to help guys. I'm not sure how this turned into a "get water" thread unless you guys think that is whats up with the twisting/dying leaves???

soil is nice and moist and pretty cool about 6" down. nice smell. roots look healthy. plants are perky. water situation is good.
