Outdoor greenhouse ideas/designs

Hey guys,

I live in Seattle Washington and am getting ready to do an outdoor grow this coming summer.

I was curious to know if anyone had any suggestions on greenhouse designs that were cheap and effective?

I know the hoop design is pretty cheap and effective, however electricity is not cheap here and I don't really want to pay anything extra for heating i've been trying to figure out a method to keep the greenhouse warm.

Our winters dont get super cold, however they do at times drop to low 30's. Cannabis wont survive this for sure, however does anyone have any ideas they have used to keep greenhouses warm that doesn't use much electricity or have a good greenhouse design?

THanks!

Hi. You can use some water tanks which can warm up from sun, then give it away at night.

I'm just above the 45th Parallel in Oregon and will be building a greenhouse this spring/summer a couple could things can help and I guess it depends on your budget.
Besides what catfish suggested..which is a great one..You can do a double poly application and install a fan to create a layer of air between poly sheets.

I'm in the same boat, looking at building a simple, cheap hoop house for my first grow this year. NW Oregon. The main thing I am looking for is protection from the freak rains we get sometimes. From May to September/October (rough time frame I am expecting to grow) I don't think temp will be a big issue.
