Outdooor nursery and clone propogation

Has anyone mucked around with cloning in banks out doors? I want to grow this year but cannot do any of it at home and want to sort myself out in the bush somewhere. I live in the southern hemisphere so I understand my banks will need to be facing more to the south to restrict light on my cuttings.
Thanks all and keep safe.

I would think it's hard to clone outdoor as clones need from what I was told at least 18 hours of light to root. So unless you have a gh or supplemental light I would think it would draw it's challenges. I root my clones under 24 hour light but dude at the hydro store said 18 roots them so idk. They root faster at 24 imo.

My first clones that I ever managed to survive and root up were out door just at the start of spring. And as in banks I mean a hole dug into a bank of dirt (mounds) facing away from the sun, just being kept alive.
