This thread is an attempt to document a tester grow with Nevil's final work the Outback Haze using the selections of Nevil's Lifelong friend who selected from the largest known collection of Outback haze while in communication with Nevil before his passing.
This thread is intended to be content rich with pictures and trait identification to benefit the community. The morphological traits of Nevil's Haze, Outback Haze and Nigerian Silk S as well as grouping the traits of each parent. NH21, Hempy's 78 Thai, NH36, NL5, And Nigerian Silk will be covered in this thread.
Content Advisory: to date Every thread on every forum that discusses Dwight Diotte's Outback haze has been trolled by the same individual(s) in attempts to derail them. I believe in freedom of speech and to let everything be said. It is the only way for people to determine truth for them selves.
However. Most don't care about the ambitions, agendas and drama. I believe most simply want content to learn and grow and develop. To hone their skills and enjoy the common passion for the plant itself.
The reader who wants to learn and benefit from this discourse through haze content has the option to ignore this individual by clicking the ignore button for this read.
I will do my best to minimize my responses to this individual so those interested in the work itself will have a relatively smooth read
Beginning:
This is a collaboration Dwight Diotte and I had been planning on for awhile and finally got to. Nevil had sent him over 40 Outback Haze (NH21/'78 Thai X NH36) before he passed.
Dwight Selected these down to several keepers that exemplified the line.
SILK S haze is an outlier from Nigerian Silk and NL5 crosses that favor the original 5haze release. An extremely dank frankincense that retains the pleasurable energetic waves associated with the old Nigerian Silk clone only. I think this cut still holds the highest ocimene, Eucalyptol and CBG recorded at piffcon.
As a whole the Incenses associated with the original 5haze are not as dominant in the Nevil's Haze that Outback was selected from as well as a few other characteristics such as the mutations. Together this contrast of distant haze selections should make for some unique recombinations.
Here is what is said to be Nevil's Haze 21 x MM
The Plant shows the structure imparted by the crown jewel of Nevil's Outback Haze project NH21.
This is a picture of NH21 provided by Dwight Diotte.
Dwights Outback haze #8 is grown from clone indoors with the branch's supported. However, it is clear that all three examples show branches that sprawl nearly as tall as the plant with very little branches from each branch and an open canopy.
This trait passed along to these testers while Silk Haze S's original 5haze mutations did as well.
One of them has the Nigerian Silk Haze mutations which are slightly different.
Hazy Arachnids
Regarding traits, high analytics and excellent Genetics this is a very exciting cross. 2 weeks into stretch
