I have a sativa that I am growing outside and I want to bring it inside its about 40 inches and I want to keep it in a veg state I have a friend that is growing inside and he told me that I could keep inside with his plants. He is running 18 on 6 off will this make my plant bloom will it affect it in any way i was told that if the plants cycle goes into 12/12 it will start blooming does that also happen if you increase the light cycle

Darkness trigers the switch to flowering, so it shouldent flower under 18/6 (what I use to veg). It might stress it the tiniest bit getting the cycle changed like that but why do you want to do it?

It will be fine, maybe transplant it a week or so before the move or maybe top it, it will probably stretch like crazy if you don't and hit the lights and that way you can get more uniform, stronger clones too , like a bonsai mom etc, ..and spray it down with some kind of decent pesticide before infecting your friends crop with mites and other pests...indoors is a great way to keep a genetic going, but giving friends the mites (sounds like a std) is no fun....so have fun!
