Plaque inside of the blood vessels is a sign in the body that something is going wrong.
Do animals build up plaque living in the wild?
I don't know... but I wonder if plaque is caused my some sort of buildup.
Maybe the way to prevent plaque formation is to have periodic fasts...where your body and bloodstream has a chance to clear. Once your blood is clear your body can start digesting some of its internal plaque.
Maybe if you never have periods of fasting that plaque is just not able to decline....
In other thoughts...
I have found that fingers make good toothbrushes. In fact, I wonder if that is what we did before we invented toothbrushes. The nails make good tools to dig at the plaque between teeth. And the rough surface and 'fingerprints' of the fingers create friction which heats up and disintegrates any surface residue.
This, combined with a diet that has a lot of roughage..llike raw vegetable matter, etc... helps keep plaque formation to a minimum, at least on the teeth...but maybe the inside of your body too?
Sometimes I think in becoming upright apes...okay humans..., we want to totally seperate ourselves from our ancestors. Even though they may have more instinctual wisdom in how to clean and take care of our bodies. It seems we have developed technology, that possibly doesn't serve us as well as we think.
I also found some odd thoughts in my brain pertaining to another issue.
The issue of our digestive system.. and how we are almost an hydroponic digestive system.
Take the Gorilla. The gorilla is one of the strongest primates. Most of his diet is actually made up of raw green leaf! Yet his muscles are so huge.
Why?
Because he understands how to get as much of that nutrient matter from the leaves into his body.
Raw foods people like to site this example, of how green vegetable matter can build muscle. It actually is TRUE! Look at horses, look at cows. They have TONS of muscle.
But whats interesting is how these animals chew the leaf matter. Primates will sit and take their time to slowly grind and chew up that stuff... doing this slowly helps really release everything in the plant.
And then swallowing the leaf matter just helps clean out the intestinal tract. Its like a bonus.
Its like the digestive tract, combined with the blood system, is a big hydroponic nutrient delivery system.
The digestive tract basically liquifies any food.
The pump for the nutrient system is something like exercise, or hard mental work...that makes a call to the body to pick up more nutrients.
So then your blood goes looking for nutrients in the digetive tract area, and if there is none, calls to your brain to eat more.
So what causes plaque to form in the inside of your body then?
Maybe its because you have too much nutrient matter inside of your blood all the time.
Exercising would help draw out that nutrient solution, allowing periods of time in between eating when the blood was cleaner. The cleaner the blood the easier for plaque to actually go back into solution of the blood and diminish.
Maybe the reason there is so much plaque formation in America, is because we eat too much, and exercise too little. This creates a very, VERY dense reservoir (blood system) in our bodies...that never has the chances to clear out!
I mean its funny, look at plants.
Plants seem to even go in phases of nutrient uptake. I don't think they are constantly sucking up nutrients...but probably go in cycles. For instance, we know the moon causes the roots to really grow out...to really suck up nutrients. I guess I don't know much about this aspect but I see the parallel.
It seems also, that certain types of foods might increase make plaque formation. Just another thought.
