Other cool smoke cities in Netherlands?

I was wondering if anyone knew... if there were other places in the Netherlands that were cool to live in. Obviously places that sold weed and had coffeeshops also.

I'm kinda thinking maybe Amsterdam is too touristy. I might be moving to the Netherlands and eventually would like to live in a place like Amsterdam, but without lots of people.

Preferably, a smaller, more country-like town. But still a place that is big on bicycling. I really do not like cars.

Anyone know of any good cities in the Netherlands?

Well, I personally like tilburg a lot, or places in southern holland in general. Some great weed to be found there too. Cheaper than Amsterdam i think.

Go to Haarlem. A small gem of a city with great coffeeshops. It's about 15 minutes by train from Amsterdam.

Holland is the name of two provinces (Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland).

Holland (I mean the netherlands) really isnt big so you can live were you want.
By the sea for example.
And for buying some weed you would have to drive like 20 kilometers.

I like this thread. Recently I realized my dream. To own a coffee shop in amsterdam/the netherlands. This would be somewhere like 10 years down the line, assuming shiva smiles graciously upon me. Anyone know what kinda money a dream like this takes to manifest?

I have no idea what kind of money it would take but I'd start learning Dutch, some French and German too.

that was the thing that amazed me about NL. The people speak like 20 languages each and switch and change on the fly. I can bearly cope with the one I got now

@inidicad, we Belgians refer to the netherlands as holland a lot, all the same to me .
Tilburg is in the province of noord-brabant. If you decide to visit, there's a great venue too called "013". It's well worth taking a look at what bands would be playing.
