Oscillating fan at the canopy?

How do you all set up oscillating fans? Do you aim them down towards the plants? Above the plants? How many per lamp?

Just be careful as too much air speed can dehydrate the leafs. Depending on fan speed you can put it on a simple 15 minute timer

I use mine near the top

you want the area above the foliage and below the lights to be turbulent, but you don't want a sustained wind barrage directly on foliage because it'll cause wind burn (over transpiration in a local spot). also, if your fan is an average lasko typeish floor fan, speed 1 on oscillate is plenty. put at least a fan in 2 opposite corners, 4 fans would be nice, but 2 is essential.
