There are a few in the O-Town area. I know theres one on Orange Blossom Trail and another right-off 436 in Altamonte Springs. If you dont want to buy local there are also shops over in Tampa & Daytona Beach.

Just be cool. Walk in, say what's up to the counter dudes. They'll ask if they can help...tell em "no I'm just browsing and need to pick up a couple of things while I'm here". Nothing to worry about. Just never mention ANYTHING that has to do with MJ. If they care about their business then they will have to throw you out if they hear you saying anything about the herbagage.
Contrary to what most people think, there is a HUGE legitimate hydroponics industry out there and not everyone who buys hydro equipment is growing weed.
Before you walk in just repeat these words in your head...

Just an FYI for ya, there is an HTG Supply store opening on July 15th over in Melbourne. They have directions on their web site. Peace!

Theirs a shop in Cocoa called east coast hydro. Eastcoasthydro.com.
the HTG shop in Melbourne is BRAND NEW so it may not be well supplied, YET. But its definately open for biz and they order whatever u need and have it there in 2 days. And yes, they match their on-line prices.

1.pay cash
2.pay attention, make a few stops on the way home so you know that you aren't being followed.
3.in the hydro shop wear sunglasses and a hat if you are so inclined.
4.if your super paranoid, get a trusted person to take you in their car or let you drive their car so that your adderess from ur lic. plate is not the adderess of your grow.
they are listed in order of importance, i take my friends car, pay cash, and watch for suspicious people - its easy for me to tell if someone is following me becasuse i make a few stops and I also pay attention to who/what car is behind me. don't really wear a disguise, because i am in a de crim state not really a big police issue, but in miami orlando, basicly anywhere in south florida you need to look out because busts have been going down, start with something small and go from there u should be ok not tryin to scare you out of growing just be careful and keep it under 25 plants. since you are in florida

i would not go to a hydro store in orlando, make your stuff out of parts online and walmart. Cheaper and safer.

Been going to Sunshine hydro for over ten years now...since they were in Longwood and called "homegrown hydroponics".
Just be careful and use some common sense.
Here's a funny story. I bought my first 1000w lighting system back in 96' or 97' from Homegrown Hydro. It was Diamond brand and it was the shit (as everyone know diamond was the shit back then). I had parked two blocks away not realizing that this bitch was going to weight 100 friggin pounds. We'll the lady asked me if I needed help getting this to my car. I was like no...I live just down the road and walked. I got a funny look (as this is not really a residential area) and I was off. So here I am trying to be stealth by parking far away yet I'm walking down a major road with major traffic carrying two huge boxes that say "DIAMOND LIGHTING SYSTEM" in big bold letters! LOFL I was young and dumb.
I've come a long way since the days of that old diamond. I've owned shit loads of Sun Systems (probably over 100) and most of them have come from Sunshine Hydro.
Anyway these guys are cool just be safe.
