Been seeing alot of c99 bx1 and other c99 cross pics around latley. Its was my understanding that c99 always had these firey orange pistils. Thought id post a few pics of the c99 i finally got back after years of searching. Done in 45-50 days. High is racey but level. Smells like Orange tang with a hint of pineapple. Taste is citrus. Peace LL

I used to run JW's F2 of C99xA11. Always had those orange hairs. Great pics!

Yeah those look exactly like the original to me. Here's an original reflowered after a messed up reveg attempt...Unfortunately C99 was my first "real" strain and I didn't have a clue and lost the genetics...

But the orange hairs and bud structure are very similar to yours only smaller. 44 Days into 12/12 and pretty much done.

Beautiful plants there. Thinking about the GN F2's. Already tried some other cindy beans and they were all over the place in phenotype. Unfortunately none were cindy.

Check out Fairlight C99 at the bay $35 for 10 beans and the reviews and pics posted by members here are spot on compared to the BG C99 I grew out....Rotten fruit and pineapple goodness...Looked close enough to the real thing to me; got a pack on the way..

Do a search for "FLT" at the bay and check out this thread

FLT C99????

The WallyDuck C99 x C99 "server fund" pack I got nearly a year ago now has yielded two females with the pineapple/rotten fruit smell, and 3 males that were very stinky with good structure. One of the females (#5) has turned into quite the clone machine, even though I left her untopped... grows straight as an arrow but shoots off a lot of long side branches once she's established and ready to flower, which I like.

I'll upload pics of my C-99 #2 girl soon, who is flowering quickly and is at 35 days or so.

They look great bro. I just got back my beloved original Bros. Grimm Ice Princess [C-99 crossed with White Widow] the best meds I have ever smoked and a great plant to grow once you get her figured out. This is a strain that wows everyone who trys her.As far as I know im one of a very small group who have her cant wait to unleash her on to the medical community.NO one has her on the west coast but me and she attained a legendary staus back on the east coast.

Looking dank Lifeless

Wonder why none of the BX1's or any other c99 I've seen lately really looks like this? I one time had some cindy that I thought was just given a name but this shit was MONKEY

little airy kind of buds with bright orange hairs, had the weirdest peppery smell to it but it was LOUD and the taste and high were nothing like I ever had before.. maybe it was real and all other cindy I had before it was fake? who knows

Because not many of the BX1's or other new "c99" offerings are the real thing IMHO.

Cindy is an unmistakable plant if you've ever grown the real thing.

Check out this thread and ignore the first page

IMHO FLT seems to be the real deal. Search FLT on seedbay...there were a few packs left last I checked

I have always been interested in Cindy and her whole family. Unfourtanetley there are so many variants out there with so much variation overall it's like looking for a needle in a hay stack. I've never been blessed enough to try the original BG seeds but out of all the breeders I've tried JW's F2's seem spot on with the BG's description. There is very little variation among females with all females being done before October 1st at my locale. Actually if you chop them when the trichs first start to amber she can be done late September. This is very early where I live. When growing she will grow very Christmas tree like however side branches stretch so much that it will finish with a bush look yet still only one main stem. The main stem and to a even greater extent the side branches are very flexible. Leaves remained darker green than any other plant which is odd under direct sun leaves usually lighten significantly. Leaves where large yet individual blades where thin and sativa like. The bud while growing had a mild scent that was extremely floral. Finished bud had a slightly airy overall structure but this was caused by the enormous amount of orangish red hairs. There where actually lots of solid budlets covered in hairs that made up any given bud. The fully cured smell had a very notable pineapple scent some said it smelled like fruit punch. The smell was sickly sweet and amazing. The high was clear and substantial. If you over did it even a little your heart would race, you would have problems catching your breathe and you couldn't focus on a single thought. Amazing weed that will catch even the most experienced toker off guard.
