Orient Express won 2nd place best Sativa in the Arizona Medical Cannabis Industry awards with the Vietnam Black sativa pheno
Thank you so much for the good news, it's the first time we join a cup of this kind, and we are very pleased to hear that people still appreciate our classic strains like Orient Express.
We would like to thank Sylvan Garden Caregivers and Ponderosa Releaf dispensary for entering their Orient Express selection in the 1st Arizona's Dispensary Medical Marijuana Competition.
The Orient Express Vietnam Black pheno tested 17% THC and .55 CBD with .50 CBN. Here are some comments from Sylvan Garden Caregivers:
' I have had my Vietnam Black phenotype momma for about 3 years now after I narrowed her down from a 5 pack of fem OE stock. She was by far the most like the Vietnam Black with branchy stetchy tall Sativa thin leafs and growth/flower structure. Completely opposite from the China Yunan Indica short squat phenos. I wanted to find as close as possible to the Original Nam black because I know alot of patients in USA are veterans and remember these old world strains from back in the day. I wanted to bring back the feeling and emotion that they had from their days during the War as I believe it can help them deal with PTSD. To prove her genetics we took some of my OE flowers to an old Vietnam Veteran and gave him some. Immediately after smoking it he stopped and paused and asked what that was we gave him he said it took him straight back to Vietnam and his time there. You could see the feeling in his face after just a couple tokes. He was lost in thought and memories. Then we informed him it WAS actually Vietnam Black he couldnt believe it after all these years he had it again. Its now his favorite strain and gets it everytime we have it available! We couldnt believe how he knew what it was just from a puff and we hadnt even told him what it was yet hahaha! It MUST be the real deal and he knows it without even being told the genetics. Beautiful synchronicity amigos you did an excellent job and everyone that has tried her so far knows she is something special as the oldtimers and true heads really appreciate the high and bouquet she brings.
