Organic Vegetables

Try eating more vegetables and less meat. You will be amazed at the way your body responds. You start to taste the real goodness that grows just like our sacred herb.

I love meat too but these days I crave beets more than meat and feel healthier than I have in years.

If you have been toying with the idea of a major diet change give it a shot.

This is a great idea however it makes sense only of the veggies you eat are not full of insecticides, pesticides, herbicides and all that shit they pump them with :(

So to sum up: grow organic vegetables first and then shift from meat to veggies (meat is no better to be frank - full of growth hormones to drive cash for the farmers).

I've been thinking of something like this myself.I once ate a whole Iceberg lettuce and it felt like I detoxified my body.(not sure of it was organic or not)

Have to pass on the Beets though.

you dont need to overkill yourself with meat, one piece(chicken legs, steak, whatever) every day at lunch or after workout is just fine ;)

the E's in processed food and animal fast-grow hormones are other story tho...
thats why is the best to grow your own veggies, try to buy meat at local farmer, if u find any organic farmers around of course, idk hows in your country but here they are quite common here(they need to use food for animals thats made by themselfs usualy, organic growing of course)

this word ''organic'' didnt exist, idk, not many years ago, it was just growing and then greedy bastards came and started using E's in food and all that shit to grow a chicken in almost a week(it usually takes 8-10), just for profit, dont care about health and shit. and u wont belive, organic vs non-organic meat/veggies(veggies from store taste like plain water, comparing to veggies that u grow yourself) tastes a lot different, pls dont take offense, but im really sorry for people who live in huge cities

I've been eating about 99% vegan for a long time, still have a tiny piece of cheese once in a great while, and I'm a beekeeper, honey is an amazing food, but that's it. Usually have fruit or a smoothie for breakfast; salad, juice, or other veg for lunch, and usually some kind of starch and veggies for dinner.

I try to keep it low-profile, as soon as someone finds out you don't eat flesh, they either try to justify their own diet, force it on you, or start tossing bro-science around to show how you're "wrong". I went from 215 lbs. in 2006 down to 165 over about a year, and I stay within 5 lbs. of that weight now. Body fat is about 8%. My blood work, heart rate and BP irritate my doctor, I'm probably healthier than most 18-year-olds.

Growing your own is great, some things are actually cheaper to buy, like organic carrots and bananas (which I can't grow here anyway). In the summer I'll go through a 40-lb. case of bananas a week, by myself. Big mistake a lot of people make is that they eat fruits and veggies like they're still eating meat, too. Gotta get the calories in, takes some doing, my salads would be considered a large family serving most places in the US.

Start small, grow the veggies you like the most, or that you have to pay the most for first. One 4'x8' raised bed can produce a lot of food. I try to grow varieties that aren't available where I live, lots of asian vegetables and herbs. We grow our "staples" on the farm where I have a tractor and real equipment. I'd say we produce 80-90% of the food we eat ourselves. Lots of work, but it's rewarding in so many ways.

not only is honey delicious it is an amazing medicine ( I also keep bees )

I don't blame you on the cheese either.

To all the beet haters cut them like potato wedges and bake em with salt, pepper, and rosemary I DARE YOU not to like them.

veggies are so damn delicious

after all, meat or, animal flesh generally is just mostly protein and eating excessive amounts acidifies the body..
