organic/synthetic nutes together

any opinions about using organic bottle nutes with GH hydro nutes?

im growing in coco using GH cocotek A+B, i want to add some kelp as a supplement, is this counter productive or should i just try it?

what about mycorhizae? i found a packet of oregonism xl any thoughts?

I don't grow in coco, but kelp is part of my nutrient plan whether I use all organic nutrients or not. It's got lots of good stuff in it for the plants.

As far as adding mycorrhizae, the synthetic nutrients I believe will kill off some of the population of your beneficials. I don't think it will kill then off completely though. But I would still rather have them in there than not. You may just want to add the beneficials more frequently is all.

There is little evidence to support inoculating with mycorrhizal products when using conventional nutrients. What is beneficial are Trichoderma products, which without mycorrhizal fungi spores are considerably cheaper.

Kelp is a bonus no matter your regime.

welp. the stuff i found laying around is loaded with both so im going test it out. i got a few plants that im trying things on first. is that cruel? IDK, but the oregonismxl is full of myc. and bact. the roots trinity catalyst i have has molasses, yucca and kelp, which im told is great for feeding the ecology in the soil which in turn helps feed the plant. makes sense to me. the xl also is a powder containing kelp so im guessing they add that in as food for the little guys in the mix.


now this is good because im growing in coco and it doesnt come with any of that.
