Ant control
Ant control
Here is my method for ant control:
4 tablespoons of boric acid (aka borax) added to a sweet syrup of your choice (honey, simple syrup, etc...). First dissolve the boric acid into some hot water, then mix it with your syrup. When you get ants, microwave it to get it runny, and put a dollop on a little piece of plastic, which you can leave somewhere the ants will find it.
Boric acid is harmless to animals and is a natural product (it is mined), and it will eliminate the nest from the inside out. Using the baits ensures that no other insects are affected.
You can get it just about everywhere. it is sold as a roach poison (the best one there is).
