Organic Multistrain Grow with airpots

Hey folks
this grow itself will start in about a week but i thought maybe you guys know something to do better or show me a mistake i made.

i wont grow myself i just kind of build and monitor this grow for a friend of mine.

The strains will be:
c99 BX (Mosca Negra)
Grapefruit x Blueberry (Chimera)
Master Kush x Skunk (Mr.Nice)

The seeds have been ordered at the bou and already arrived.

they are going to be under a 600 watts osram plantastar all the way in a 1,2*1,2m (4*4ft.) DIY cabinet. They start in max. 30 cups then will be transplanted to 5,5l (1,5 gallon) buckets. as soon as we can take cuttings we will take some flower some just to show sex and some will make mothers.afterwards they will be transplanted to 15l (4 gallon) airpots and flowered.

The soil will be a blend of:
50l BioCanna Bio Terra + (i loved their non-bio soil)
10l Perlite
1l Plagron Bio SuperMix

the nutrients will probably be Bio Bizz:
Bio-Grow
Bio-Bloom
Top Max
Alg-a-Mic

some iso we made yesterday:

Had no "chemmy" smell at all and will be sampled later.
Hope you guys have some advice especialy on the nutes
See ya

sry for the bad quality but we finished building it at 6 in the morning and were quite buzzed:kos:

next time you will see about 30 seedlings in 5.5l pots

the first and maybe last actual iinfo in this thread

hey folks,
like i told you heres a photo of 27 seedlings in 5.5 and a couple of 3.4 liter pots
there are:
8 c99 bx
9 grapefruitxblueberry
8 master kush x skunk
2 blue satellite

the germination rate was 100% but some didnt make it through the soil
well actually 2 c99 didnt pop but then they did after they were sandpapered a little.

and here are some strange looking for you to take a look at and pls write what you know about them

the first strange c99:

i have no idea what this is but we started giving it cleaner water and keep an eye on it.

the second c99:

my best guess would be this is some kind of monoploid plant

the rest look just lovely especially this blue satelite:

this maybe is my last post in thread because i thought it would be better to post in the breeders sub forums, because when i did some resarch on the strains i was looking in the breeders subs and used the search by title. thats why i think its better to divide this thread. but maybe one of you has a good point to keep it together.

see ya

so this is the next update. please give us some advice how we could possibly deal with our troubles.

here an overview:

while the light is on the temperature climbs to 27°C(80°F) and drops to 16-17°C(~60°F).

another trouble is with a blue satelite:

we measured the ph with strips the water has a ph of 6.0 and the runoff is about 6.8-6.9. so i can rule out a Fe lockout due to ph troubles.

the bottom leaves of almost every plant are also quite twisted can that be caused by the big temp swings?

i hope you guys can help us out a little

roots might be too cold at night. get a seedling heating mat with a rheostat to closely monitor temps. there are so many things it could be at this point, but try to control temperatures first and see how your plants bounce back :)

I'll be watching the progress of this grow.. all the best!

thanks for the tip with the heating mat but the ones we could get were way too small so yesterday we went to the store and got a heating cable.

the plants are doing fine and we fimmed them yesterday.
so heres a couple of pics:

an overview before we fimmed them:

the roots are starting to shoot out under the pot and they are becoming nice bushes:

after we fimmed and layed the heating cable:

in about a week we take cuttings and in about 3 weeks we put them into flower

if you like what you see , leave us a comment.
if you dont then tell us whats wrong.

p.s. pls tell me how i can put big pictures in my posts

this will be the second last update during veg (the last veg update will be after transplanting the girls into the airpots).

as you can see the cabinet gets quite crowded.

we also spotted a fan leave shooting SOMETHING. during last years outdoor season we encountered a fanleave shoot 2 additional fingers out of the exact same spot and somewhere here ive seen a fanleave produce 2 single calyxes.but this one looks like its producing an entire shot or at least an extra fanleave:
this is a gfxbb

the lady bugs seem to get through the winter very very close because weve seen so many of them(during the last couple of weeks i saw more of them then on average in several years combined).

i hope you enjoy my updates and if not: i will still keep them coming because i myself dont like the too undetailed reports

these pictures were taken on the last day of veg.
the sidebranches were tied down that day and the plants have been repotted a week before.

the 16 females are:
2 Blue Satellite 2.2
5 GFxBB
3 MasterKushxSkunk
6 C99 BX-1

7 days of 12/12

here are pictures 7 days after the flip to 12/12

considering these are 4 different strains im impressed with the very even canopy.

these are some chocolate-cherry-pot muffins we had this weekend:

they were made with this butter which itself was made of some stuff we already dry-sieved in a pollinator.

15 days of 12/12

so heres how it looks 15 days after the flip to 12/12.
we cut of the branches that would have produced just crap anyway.
the strains all root nicely. of 26 cuttings we took just one didn´t root.
edit: actually the 26th clone did root. i just took the rockwool block apart and there was a tiny root sprouting but the root just popped out of nowhere it came neither out of the diagonal cut nor from the 3 scars i made.

i will post better pictures during this week but they are good enough for now. everything is starting to look really nice and sugary and it smells fruity sweet when you open the closet.

but i have a little problem with on of the clones in my veg-wardrobe.
those crinkly leafes dont exist on the gfxbb i took the clone from.
the other cuttings all started a healthy growth.

is there anything i can do to make her happy or should i just wait?

till next time, Pothead

day 27

day 27

there will be plenty of pictures as soon as the cable turns up.
the first one is extremly pineapple and the second one a grapefruit c99.
