Organic Bloom Enhancers

Safari

Member
I am looking for a good organic bloom enhancer that will help increase final weight. I have some fox farm big bloom, but I really use that more at the beginning of flowering to help the plants switch from veg to bloom faster.

There are all kinds of non-organic products you add the final few weeks of flowering to increase bud growth, weight, and final yield.

Does anyone have any experience with a similar organic product?

Thanks!

hmmm, im not sure about organic but i really think that the fox farm line of flower enhancers, open sesame + beastie bloomz + cha ching are killer for flowering. I use it in conjunction with pure blend pro bloom and liquid karma and its working wonders....

Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz and Cha Ching are more like KaBloom - inorganic.

I get very good results with Budswell.

I just moved my potsize up some and it helped. I had no deficencies in late bloom High- P guano 2 heaping teaspoons mixed a half gallon of water water from top helps if you are not a flushing purist. I am new to organics. I am feeding my worms high Phos. waste with green sand and will make some teas with that. This organis stuff is not cheap and I prefer to make it myself. I tried terra cycle and it made my growroom smell of garbage! The key for me getting nice kolas is a good High -P foilar feed at pree-flower. a drop or 2 of B-12 liquidin the spray seems to help.peace

edt: Hello B1

This is about 3 weeks from chop under a 250 in a 2 galon pot. While you can't see it, it is about 6 inches long. This is a Superskunk x Northern Lights #5.

This is the best thing I have ever used for flowering BIG BUDS. You can use it at every watering until harvest...

Flowering nute tea mix:
2/3 cup Peruvian Seabird Guano
2/3 cup Earth Worm Castings
2/3 cup High P Guano (Indonesian or Jamaican)
5 tbs. Maxicrop 1-0-4 powdered kelp extract
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses
@ 2 cups/5 gallons of water EVERY watering.
You can use queen size knee high nylon stockings for tea bags. 3 pair for a dollar at the dollar store. Tell 'em you use them for paint strainers. Put the recommended tea in the stocking, tie a loop knot in it and hang it in your tea bucket. The tea should look like a mud puddle. Agitate the bag in the water vigorously. An aquarium pump and air stone will dissolve oxygen into the solution and keep the good bacteria (microherd) alive and thriving. Let it bubble a day or two before you use it. If you find you are making too much tea and having to throw it out, use 2 1/2 gallons of water and cut the nute amount by half.

What Burn1 said: the best bloom enhancer is the teas you make yourself. Hands down. And I make mine strong and dilute it.

Yea, I use(d) Floralicious, much like others use Liquid Karma, but it is called an organic base enhancer, mostly organic, but it has PROCCESSED organic ingredients, may not be organic such as phytostimulants, polyflavinoids, and aromatic oils in a fulvic base, there are 3 types, GROW and BLOOM and the latest PLUS, which is like 5x more concentrated version/combination of the two former, I guess. I have all three, use them sparingly in tes, and foliar sprays, all three are a really dark brown/black oily yet easily dispers in water, it is HYDROLIZED if that's why I don't know.

I like the smell of it, like a floral oil kind of thing, I like mostly use all organic stuff but choose to use this as a what if fragrance booster, resin encourager bla bla, but yea I have no regrets using it, bought that DOC stuff once, poured it out in the driveway because I thought it was too chemically.

I have strange approch or desire to enhance floral appeal, I guess, just for my own satisfaction.

I like the tea making, approch though, I kind of use this and that together though to give it something extra, if there is a need for such a thing, a bottle of any of them seems to go a long way, not to be used as agressively as LK IMO.

This FL may lean toward more of a quality enhancer (smells & appearance), than a quantity enhancer, but desription includes increases root and leaf mass, as the approch to the increased bud production which makes sense to me.

Two point worth mentioning here are that since organics for MJ start with a healthy ammended soil mix it goes without saying (or so I think) that what you put in you soil at the beginning is what makes the real difference in the end of flowering where "boosters" and other assorted commercial crap fill the void in a poor or spent soil.

A. In organics use more soil, don't go cheap with the amount of soil, whomever mentioned it 2 thums way way up.
In organics our mix is more than a substrate it is our fert base do use alot. Remember what Ed Rosenthal always says, as below as above ie greater roomasses lead to bigger buds. :joint:

B. Bloom boosters in organics are the one's mother nature gives us.
Teas with molasses and guano have been mentiones, feeding every time with an activayed microbe tea will get things hopping, using the right tea elements like kelp, molasses, alfalfa meal, EWC and guano are a good idea.

C. Mychorizzae, I never hear of anybody using it, I use it at every transplant and in short it is the most highly underrated additive in organics today, they multiply your rootzones potential at least twice over and more rootzone means more bud.

There is no magic formula for big buds, just giving the plants exactly what they need WHEN the need it.

Hey Safari:

Suby raises a good point, what's in your dirt? Bloom supplements should work with what you already have in the soil. That being said, try Budswell. They have an 0-7-0 formula that costs about 90$US for an 11lb box. Its pretty expensive, but worth every penny in my experience. Use as directed as a top dress or add to water and make a tea. Either way, combine it with 1tsp/gal of molasses (this dosage assumes you have some K in the dirt already). Doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling the dose will really push the nute tolerance of your plants. I feel like less is more, but these products will give you the flexibility and power to rival any of the FF boosts (cha-ching, open sesame, beastie bloomz, etc) if you see fit. 4tbsp/gal of 0-7-0 and 4tsp/gal molasses gives around a 4-28-20, and 900-1000ppm. I never push this hard since I rely more on my soil, but if you are looking for a bloom boost this is it. Hope that helps. There are lots of great suggestions here, just take what you like and make it yours.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.

I currently use blood mean, bone meal, and dolomite lime to enrich my soil, but I have been thinking of changning that as well.

Thanks again!

JK I love how you pick up the ball and run with it, your definately not a fence sitter or and flanker.

Now I'm itching to brew some nettle.
