ordering seeds with my own credit card?

I have, maybe forty times, but I live in the state of Washington.

Contact the card company beforehand so they will approve an international transaction. The fraud department no longer calls me after I make an order.

I have. Many, many, times.

The misses is a medical card carrier now, but most of my business was before she was.

If your worried go for a Pay as you go (pre paid) credit card . You can order it in different name sent to another safe address . You load the money on at a retailer & your credit is whatever`s on the card . Only problem though poss delivery of goods ordered if the addy differs .

i prefer to send cash as it is untraceable, ...i am NOT legal and i was taught that you can't be TOO careful.

...if it is the first time i'm dealing with a particular seed seller i place a small order and see how it goes, if they are a reputable company wanting to stay in business they will send me my beans because to do otherwise is just bad business.

...it's always prudent to go small until you have some kind of track record with cash transactions, that way if you get stiffed as sometimes happens, it doesn't hurt anything more than your pride.

...btw, the only order that i ever placed that didn't arrive was with Gypsy and i paid by card.

peace, bozo

Ordered from the "tude November 13th, several days later got the green tape, no letter...the non-contraband item made it! I informed them, they reshipped, got the goods (plus the freebies) a few days later. I am satisfied.

At this point, it seems that US Customs treats MJ seeds the same way they treat any unauthorized seeds. When they find 'em, they keep 'em, and that's that. Otherwise, we'd be hearing about a lot of problems for the thousands of people who order every month. Yes, thousands, obviously. Customs might react differently over several thousands of dollars worth of seeds vs a few hundred bucks worth. Dunno.

Anybody growing commercially would likely be prudent to shop with cash or international money orders, authorize shipment to an address other than their grow.

I am not so sure these days! I have had 50 and 100 dollar bills with red ink stains, funky writing or symbols on them, and so on. Conceivably, if someone did that intentionally and was watching to see where these bills ended up, maybe they could. I have ordered many times from many places, and the only orders that did not show up were with cash. I had numerous cc orders (not recently) and no problems.

I've noticed that the seed companies I used to order from(Gypsy and Nirvana) are no longer taking credit cards for their orders. Have to figure out another payment approach. Peace and respect.

I stand corrected, Nirvana just accepted my credit card for my new order. Mauie Wowie , these are for my fondly remembered 1980s days when I could not afford this wonderful weed, AK48, had the cherry smelling pheno my first go around 3 years ago, and blackberry seeds. We will see how long it takes. Peace and respect.

Using your credit card will not get you busted. Usually police are tipped off by someone who knows you grow.

After you are arrested, the DA may acquire all sorts of evidence to shore up their case. Any grow related equipment, material, refuse, bags, scales, paraphernalia, stems, trim, weapons, credit card & bank statements, etc.

They can't and won't look into financial records unless they already have plenty of evidence to charge you.

IMO, there are other things to worry about.
