Ordering seeds to finland

Is it legal to order seeds there? Can there be any problems with the customs?

Seeds are legal yes. Customs, if they intercept seeds, will forward em to the customer. Do they keep records or tip the cops? Who knows, they say they don't. Use a safe address.

Three seed orders from the UK within a year to my home address,
no issues with the law yet.

I've heard of a finnish guy getting a visit from the customs
due to mailing some acid to himself from India, eh...

A safe addy or a "poste restante" to your nearest post office
should do it if you're feeling unsure.

I doubt customs has the resources for cause of worry.

I just order them and hope for the best. I hate paranoia but I´ve come to a stage where I just don´t care very much. What can they do to me? I´m older than most of you guys and I have my future in the rearview mirror so again: What can they do?

I'm quite certain customs tip the cops, but who can tell how commonplace it is? I know about a handful of cases in which seed orders may be blamed for the person(s) getting busted, at least logically thinking there aren't a lot of other options. Order from the UK rather than Netherlands, and use poste restante if you have a lot to lose... I haven't ordered for years... it's a sad state of affairs.

If you want to minimize the risks, at least order your seeds anywhere else than Netherlands. Denmark or UK for example. That's what I've done.

I've got my seeds from fellow growers and by ordering from UK. No trouble at all so far. I try to keep very low profile. No one knows what I do and I like to keep this hobby private.

If you are paranoid just visit abroad and stuff it up in your *** or something. This way you'll know 100% what is going on.
