Ordering products w/hydro graphics on the package

First off, I'm not sure what forum to put this in, so sorry if it doesn't belong.

I'm interested in ordering some products that get shipped in brown boxes with the companys logo and exactly what it is on the outside. In other words the box has "hydroponics" "grow" "indoor" all over it.

Is this a big deal? I say yes, and am wondering what others would think or feel. Maybe I'm being a little too paranoid as anyone could order stuff like this to grow whatever.

I guess the UPS guy would know I'm up to something. :yoinks:

On my first equipment order, they all came in original manufacturer boxes, with things like "GROW LIGHT" and "HYDROPONICS" and all all over it. But I lived in San Francisco, and the UPS guy probably didn't even give it a second thought. Elsewhere, it may be a bit different... I don't know.

What I've been doing lately, and will be doing from now on at my new location, though is asking the vendors to package it discreetly or otherwise cover up those markings.

It's just extra information that no one needs to know, CA medical recommendation or not. A good policy for folks who don't have alternate delivery addresses (and even ones who do).

I'm getting something off e-bay, and whoever is selling, I guess isn't really aware of the whole, "I might be selling to someone who intends to grow MJ" and could not care of graphics on the side

You're just going to have to politely ask the seller to ship discreetly. You can say that you don't want expensive equipment to advertise itself on your front doorstep. You don't want to rouse any suspicion in the seller, though, for sure. Good luck.
Of course, you could find your gear from another vendor, the absolute safest approach.

That's why most require a signature.

What suspicion? The seller almost always knows what you're planning to do with it anyways. The only real reason they won't ship discreetly is because they use drop shipping and don't actually have the mechandise on-hand.
