superline- kevlar/dyneema/spiderwire etc. some varieties have the diameter of 6 to 8 lb test monofilament, but 40 to 80 lbs breaking strength. you can ruin a good pair of scissors cutting the stuff, and don't bother trying to bite it in two...

Yea but have one tiny little nick in one of your ceramic guides and it'll cut through the SpiderWire/Spectra Braid like it was butter...............funny how that shit happens.

fishing is slow right now in the ocean...it will be picking up shortly ...I will be down for a week or so due to surgery so I went anyhow....nothing special happening...but hey its beautiful anyhow...yeehaw...fresh water fishing in so cal sucks as water levels are low and jerkoffs in bassboats ruin it for me...
