Here be one of the normal looking ladies. Looks alright ja?

Okay well what's going on with..

While her sisters are putting out some moderately sized leaves this lady is just throwing out as many leaves as she can. It's hard to see from this terrible picture but there are TONS, all very narrow, lots and lots and lots of them. Tons of tiny little ones starting as well. It looks like a little bush.

All five of those are the same strain. The one off to the furthest left with the very broad leaves is a different strain.

4 out of 5 of the same strain look very similiar, similiar growth, doing all the same things at the same time but that one there as you can see is just going :peacock:

Normal?

Howzit, Jerry Moses?

Just a guess here, but I'm thinking she's in a panic about something.
When you do the post-mortem inspection, I'm guessing that you find the tap root thwarted by a chunk of wood, or a perlite boulder.
When a plant thinks it's in shallow soil it tries to sprint to the finish.
If it sexes early too, I'd say it's in a hurry, wouldn't you:)?

They under a MH or CMH lamp? As long as they are healthy, I wouldn't worry too much.

400w MH currently.

Doesn't appear to be in a panic though. Lots of growth. The soil underneath the rockwool is well sifted, only small perlite used.

No typical signs of distress as far as I can tell.

Clones or feminized seed? I'm far from a botanist/geneticist and maybe one will peek in and offer a better explanation, but if seed, the only thing I can think of is it reacting to the bluer spectrum of the MH, more so than her sisters. I take it this isn't your first rodeo, but as long as she's green and healthy, let her do her thing. You may have one hell of a bush when it's all said and done!

First real rodeo. Only thing I've grown before was a couple bagseeds under a CFL. Doing things correctly this time.

They're all from seeds. A different phenotype than her sisters would make perfect sense given the lineage however the growth itself isn't normal for any cannabis plant based on my research.

The leaves aren't getting very big compared to her neighbours just putting out an abundance of them. It will be interesting to see if it survives I suppose.

What irks me right now is how light green and unhealthy all five look yet their G13 White Lavender freebie cousin to the left is so green and vibrant looking.

I had a plant that ended up looking like that. It was a critical mass 33 from ch9. The plant came up out of the dirt with its first set of leaves(the ones that look like leaves on any other vegetable). Then shit got weird. The next set of leaves that came was only a single leaf blade and thats it, no top, no side shoot's nothing, a single leaf and stem. So anyways i hate killing plants, so after a week of no new growth, i tried something. I took and broke the leaf where it met the stem not all the way just a little, then rolled it in my fingers a little, and walked away. Three days later i could see a little tiny, tiny, shoot coming up from where the leaf met the stalk. So now this is where it get's weird. The plant started to grow and the main stem completly went flat, i mean flat like a board. Then the top of the plant did some weird mutant shit and became a clusterfuck of tops, so many that were so short, i couldn't take clones from the spot. There had to be like 50 tops, no lie. Now comes the cool part. When i took clones of branches under the cluster, it would force 3-4 tops from the cluster to grow long enough to clone, so i did. This plant ended up prducing clones that gave me some of the biggest nugs i have ever grown. The point to all this rambling, don't kill it , it could be really special.
