I wish I could take pictures of the entire plant, I can only see about a third of it clearly; I can't even see the back half at all! Whole thing takes up about 5 cubic feet, and thats only counting the bud area.

I can see this plant visibly fattening up on a day to day basis! Can't wait to smoke some of it; I sampled some bud a week ago that had been accidentally cut around day 37 or so and it got me blazed like no other. Tasted damn good too for coming right off the plant without a cure. I plan taking her at day 56(maybe longers since it seems to be fairly sativa) and am going to be feeding full strength right up until the day of chop.

3.5g E&F bucket w/ 10 gallon remote rez. Haven't changed the rez in 8 weeks.

looks good, what is your expected yield?

Imo it would be much better to flush it before harvest, or if your definetly feeding up until choppy time you should water cure those babies. you will get less weed and it will lose it's smell but it would be more potent, it gets rid of the nasty crap in there,makes it smoke smooth and the buds will be fatter than if you had flushed. so i guess water curing is only bad because of the wieght loss.

I firmly believe in feeding all the way up to chop. I think all flushing does is starve your plant and fuck it up. I don't want to get into a debate over flushing though, this is the wrong forum for that. Besides, I've already sampled some that was quick dryed and not cured at all. Tasted light and fruity and got me blazed! It tasted just as good as some homegrown Jack Herer thats been floating around here.

I expect to yield a bare mininum of 2 oz. I'm hoping to bust right through the QP mark though honestly. A decent amount of it is going to be popcorny though. This is mainly due to two things: this is my first grow and scrog all the way through, and this plant stretched like an unbelievable motherfucker. Believe it or not, I trained under the screen 10 days into 12/12 and it still stretched up that much.

i agree that flushing isnt as good for your plants but it gives the salts and all that junk time to get out of the buds.

water cure some of those and do a smoke report comparing it with normal cure?

water cure sucks. if your only working on a 270 I wouldn't do that.


on the other hand I'm really impressed. I'm baffled that your plant isn't being burnt. I'm guess you've got that cool tube working perfect. I'm used to 600w cool tubes and there just is no tweaking them to get them that close.


I don't flush either, I'm an organic grower and I let them run out naturally. I'm not sure about with Gh though.

I know this isn't a thread about flushing, but I have found that flushing really does improve the taste along with a slow dry and cure. Maybe you lose a few grams by not feeding but everyone has their way of doing things. I'm not saying I'm right just my experience with flushing and not flushing. Nice Blue Mystic btw looks to be a fat yielder - prolly around 3 or 4 ounces dry. My roomate grew some a few years ago as his first grow, the smoke was nice and mellow. It was very good daytime chill herb. We didn't notice much blueberry influence though more on the sweet skunk side of things. How does yours smell?

but flushing is a good idea since you need to get rid of that fertilizer smell and taste man. It will burn your lips (not to mention your lungs). A week is not nearly enough though

Think of it as the difference between spring and tap water

The bud that I cut at day 49 tastes great and it hasn't had any time to cure at all. Can't wait to sample some of the final stuff when it has sat for a good cure!
