Here a little piece of advice I lately wrote to a more then good friend:

Friend:I remember something about a hairdryer..did we do that with buds in the jar or an empty jar?

OTH > It's just basic fysiology F. Try understanding the principle and you will find several ways to go about it.

What you could do with empty jars is to keep them in your oven at lets say 75C untill the glass has token up the temperature of it's suroundment.

Your pre-dried bud you could meanwhile quickly exempt from exess humidity that's naturally present in the air by spreading them out over a newspaper while shortly blowing it dry with your föhn.

Then, remove one jar at the time from the oven & quickly fill it with bud while immediatly closing it there after. Maybe just blow the föhn over the previously filled jarr before closing it still & just to make sure you will be trapping WARM air before sealing it into a vacuum.

What will happen is that now, you will get bone dry bud, as well as bone dry air in your jars beeing present at this stage , provided you work fast. ^^
Simply for the reason that warm air contains much less humidity as would cold air do.

What will happen during the next 2 to 3 weeks is that inner cellular moist that is trapped inbetween the the cellule walls of your plant material will slowly become released and by act of diffusion will slowly raise up the humidity of the air inside your jars again.

Not to worry tho, just do as I just painfully detailed tried to explain to you and all should be fine.

No best of luck beeing wished on that , lol :)

One other benefit of doing things this way is that if you hide your jars into the forest where humidity levels are normally close to 100%, then now you will able to check upon factory failure of your jars.

When opening the jarr for inspection they should now produce a popping (imploding) sound after removing the sealant lid.

If they don't, you better replace the whole damn masonry jar and go shopping for newer ones.

I think I will put this piece of info in public too, as I sense some others could benefit from it.

Although if I do that, then prolly some smart asses will notice it to be much more easy to place the whole damn jarr filled with bud et all inside the confinement of a preheated oven and do things that way, allthough that remains optional & would work like a dream in case you have no sensibillity whatsoever towards quallity of fragrance, lol

I got here some jars btw from VacuVin that are made by 'vacu products holland B.V.'

http://www.herbalhut.com/mfrprodinfo/pop-ups/vacuvin_coffee_saver_214008.htm

They are rather expensive and work by means of a rubber valve and a secondary, little, factory delivered, manual operatable vacu pump, that might as well could act as your regular penis enlarger, lol

They were expensive indeed, like 17 euris per 750 cc jarr, but they work like a dream and will hold their vacuum until beyond the end of post apocaliptic events, lol. They are made of 'hard core' non toxic plastic and lasting rubbers & I could not state them to be inferior when compared to your regular glass ware.
Maybe google it, as I am bad at doing two things simultaniously ;)

Love back at ya Mate, all seems to be going just rite & fine again over here: :)
