Hi there folks,

I have grown before: guerilla style and within indoor environments; however, a couple of unwelcome visits from the police :fsu: have dictated to stop .... until now

Been paranoid to post on here until I read lougrew's awesome field of dreams hahaha my god what an up yours to the fuckin pigs!

now for my problem I hope to god some of you can help me, the mothers are dying! Have undergo some spice of life sweet tooth #3 (2germed) - loved that one on previous attempts delicious smoke; spice of life blubonic (4germed), and some GN golden skush (2germed). Don't know which ones are which.. im lazy but cant wait till they develop.

I have a small 75cm x 75cm x 100cm grow tent, running a 175m3/hour fan using canna bio-terra soil and bio canna nutes. I have used coco coir before although the standard version and never had any problems, but I was then in an area with hard water and i'm pretty sure the water im using now is on the soft end of the spectrum.

Yesterday sourced some ph paper and potassium hydroxide after reading this spectacular thread by Mynamestitch: http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=11688

About half of a standard pellet of KoH brought the 5 litres of water up to ph7 - neutral was my thinking. So gave the plants a dowsing with that yesterday evening.

They have so far had two feeds in a period of 3-4weeks, figured the bio-canna soil would hold its own until the plants reached a substantial size and using these potent nutes I definitely did not want to burn em all.

So given this info can you help a worried stoner, can see my personal stash disfiguring itself before my eyes and I thought I knew what I was doing. Take a breath.... deep breath.:badday:

MAX: 70f
MIN: 54f

400w HPS running 24hours

Fan running constantly

cropped about a week ago, was thinking its could perhaps be too cold? or perhaps a genuine nitrogen deficiency, have some vintage bat guano but am scared to feed in case of a lock out.

Also my coriander don't look too good, any ideas?

Hey Hemphog, sorry your having probs. You might want to take this thread to the
"Cannabis Infirmary" where there are peeps who specialize in these things.
Hope you get it sorted. :) NS

Ooh they look severly overwatered to me. I'd say your soil mix is way too heavy and is holding too much water. Hold off on watering until the pot feels really light. Stick your finger in the soil and it should feel damp.

I use 2 parts soil, 1 part vermiculite and 1 part perlite. 50/50 soil and perlite works well too. Cannabis likes well draining soil.

Wet soil prevents the roots from developing. When the top grows faster than the roots, it causes deficiencies on the lower leaves. The fat droopy leaves are the indicator.

Oh man that one looks like rotten broccoli!! phh

Wow your in a world of hurt. Like previously said it is VERY clear you have over watered that top plant. Get a PH tester and tell us what your PH is. They need oxygen in the soil to grow, so they cant breath when watered heavily.

Also what is that soil mix? And yes, the post this in the infirmary and you will get more precise answers. Honestly I think you have Nitrogen deficiency. Go get regular Shultz plant food at Ace hardware. These general purpose nutes have alot of nitrogen and could be your savior.

LOL. Yo I serously dont think this is a weed plant bro. You have one there, yes, with a N defficiency. That looks like it can still be saved. You need to not overewater, you should be watering and then waiting until the pots get very light and feel almost dry. You'll see your plant react and droop its leaves if it gets too dry. Also maybe give them a dose of Fish emulsion at half strangth. That should perk them right up.
Next time you transplant add a good amount of pearlite to your mix.
And yea, are your sure that is weed on that one pic? It looks like mixed herbs for cooking...

Edit: LOL. Just looking at the pic again. That is deffinatly some parsley in there! I SEE IT! LOL. Dude, whatever it is, kill it. If it could talk it would be saying, "KILL ME!! KILLLLL MEEEEE!" lol :rasta: :joint:

Thanks folks, if they don't die i will turn this into a grow diary... long awaited.

LOL Thats not a weed plant thats my coriander, thought why waste the space? "kill me" hahahaha

I realise this is in the wrong forum but have problems trying to divert it to the infirmary when editing I don't see how; so this will be made into a diary.

Truth is they havn't actually been watered that often, but did give them some a couple of days ago and it seems to have worsened. So you don't think a lockout is happening thank **** for that!

Overwatering makes sense, i have people "trying" to help by feeding them water to my concern yesterday as the ph wasnt corrected with KOH.

Should I transplant into soil with perlite and vermiculite and feed em some vintage bat guano? seem to remember from stitch's thread guano has high nitrogen that will sort em.

I will get a soil sample and test the ph and let you folks know how I get on

Cheers for the replies a boost in confidence!

theres a rough ph gauge, the strip on the right is the water used without any additives, and the ph on the left was where i dropped a pinch of soil into the water and took the ph, very rough but i don't have a ph meter.

So overwatering it is? thought it was a lockout, they havn't been fed that often which is probably why they are going into disarray.

Wait...What?

Repot. It doesn't look like you added enough lime to offset the acidity of the peat. I made the same mistake, and potting up to a mix without peat solved my problems. I didn't add nearly enough lime.

Live and learn :/
