Axioms suck a hard dick for anything else then a controller. The keys are not weighted so you will not get a feel if you come from a piano background. Save the money and go with motif.

if you dont no what a motif is u should not be looking up keyboard's
dre prolly has 10 of them..... i seen snoop fucking with one on one of hiz mtv show my wife was watching i know back in the day when he was with eazy they used a akai that u had to load disk's into no rom's......... thats really one of the things that made classic rap dude's doing shit not like now day's u just press a key and the whole beat is made.......

buttons and shit dont sell homie korg triton is one of the best if not the one.... the shit u can do on it is unlimited it's all in the screen yes it's weighted keys......

the xl7 is tight the pad's are "weighted" the harder u hit it the louder the drum kick or strum from the string's.... yes its usb i dont knwo about reason or cubase all have to ask my homie.... i use pro tool's

I've played on tritons, motifs, and phatoms. And the Motif IMHO is the closets representation of a piano.

Not dissing the triton at all, in fact the majority of the Neptunes sound comes from the triton. I would just buy the rack and use it for sounds.
