Are there any old collections of marijuana from pre-prohibition which can indicate what the varieties used for rope etc were like, their potency and so on?

Are they similar to ditchweed? is it fair to say that industrial hemp was similar to ditchweed in that it has high cbd compared to THC?

Well in fact ditchweed is basically feral hemp that got spread all over the areas after the prohibition and hemp industry discontinued.

Probably old hemp had some cannabinoids too but because those strains weren't improved/bred by the man to be smoked, it was merely anecdotal.
