I used to run around with a guy that bought a van at auction and months later found 2 keys of high quality coke wedged into the bottom of the passenger door. The window would roll down, but not all the way and he was trying to fix it when he found it.

We did a little research and believe the owner was arrested on pot charges and given state time, while his van went to impound, later to be auctioned off as abandoned for the storage fees. It was late 70's, before the cops got greedy confiscating everything.

Imagine buying a P.O.S. van for less than $300 and finding nearly $35k worth of coke. We partied like rock stars for quite awhile.

Are you kidding me!!! Now that is a find!!! I don't do coke but that is so much money right there!!! So i guess you sold it? and did some...? But anyway thats a fucking sweet find and same with the weed in the van. Very cool! haha

Yeah, he sold the better part of it. I was just the lucky friend that got to powder my nose for free for several months. Funny part was that he used some of the proceeds to go back and try for a repeat. Instead of looking for auto's that we wanted, we were looking for auto's that were most likely to have been carrying dope. He bought 2 more but all we found was some change under the seats.

Best part about it was that after access to that much coke over a 2-3 month period, when it was gone we both just gave it up. Neither of us got strung out and we just had lots of fun and it was over. Smoking it never occurred to us as base was yet to be popular and probably would have been our downfall.

Pretty good actually for guys that were snorting 3-4 grams a day, everyday.
