I think he just means he popped the old school haze beans he made ssh x sssdh.

hi ojd,
that's not a personnal attack but I grew SSSDH from CSG many time & it was not difficult for me to find nanners in the standard versus.
I have had even a 100% hermi with f2 made with banana pollen !
that said, SSSDH is one of the best weed I ever grow and smoke.
All the trichome are > 100µ
I'm ready to grow it again without fear of bollocks (I don't care bananas because I don't use ventilo on 12/12 cycle !)
some have said that light leeks can lead to develop nanners and That's exactly what it happened with me ( daylight/sunlight leeks with blue spectral light ).
A lot of people have experienced nanners with ECSD clone lineage, that's a fact with numerous witness

Very interesting, I wonder if it's similar to the haze that was in NY pre 2000. Can you please provide smell and taste information?

I only popped 2 seeds of the seeds you sent me ( finding space to grow them is the problem
I had a female was nice but nothing amazing
Still beter than anything I've seen in amsterdam for many years
I flowered it when I did the fem sssdh project a few years back
I dusted up the bottom of the c5 mix seed with sssdh pollen
I'm growing that seed out now
Il post up pics if it turns out any good
I'm going to grow all the seeds you gave me at the end of the year in spain and do a really nice selection
As you know you need time and space for proper haze runs so didnt want to do it without the time and space
I will post the grow of your seeds online with lots of pics and details as I expect some amazing hinge to be found from them

Smokes like a Sunday church and has a clean racy cerebral high that is better than drinking coffee. Aromas are just perfect, like a morning in the dam.
Forgot to mention before, been growing this under a 3000k MH (similar to HPS reds), loves the blue/UV way better than HPS. Better yield, better resin.
It's the frost that gets me on this one:

Like many others,, i seek the pre2000 nyc/uptown haze frankies/church I grew up on. I ran dozens of haze crosses from nevills to mine and my crews own crosses and only found 1 worthy example. My buddy had a beatiful male he found outta he says about the nicest hes ever seen from uptown,, and crossed it to an old school norcal cut called "ed" or "special ed" our buddies pops had been working with since the 80s. Outta 1 of the runs they found a 11-12 week uptown/piff/frankies haze. She was my go to girl for years,, but lost her a cpl years ago. Im now running a few EcsdxNevilles and EcsdxEcsd/Nevilles I made a few years ago using the true Ecsd cut and a Nevilles male that showed preflowers early and wa covered in trics in veg. The Ecsd/Nevilles male i selected was Ecsd leaning. I don think these will give me the uptown piff im looking for,, but I'm sure their be some good stuff to select from.

It's all OJD and his selection skills. Finding that Old school SSH mom was key. The OJD cut fem pollen did well out crossed, everything that came out was good, this one just had low leaf high calyx ratio and was the resin leader. No herms either, even without Florel treatment.
Been running her for 2 years now. Always delivers.
All I did was let the genetics do their thing. Haze is coming back, and she is on par with great haze smoke. I'm about to crack all my Shanti seeds to find more of the real deals like OJD found.

Hell yeah Dr.B. That is inspiring. I love the haze leaning ssh pheno's. I did a run of shanti's ssh a few years ago and it knocked my socks off. I am stoked to try out some old school haze for sure. OJD does good work.
