Old Hippie - newbie grower

I'm growing top water/drain - organic/hydro - easy maintenance 148gph pump on a timer horizontal FLOtubes 4' x 8 4x2700k & 4x6500k plus CFL's And have 1-75w hps and 2-75w-sodium Wardrobe closet 20"x39"x76" fans etc. (adjusting the heat)???? using:

60% coco coir / 10% spagnum moss (not peat) / 30% perlite

Water at 6.2ph
Humidity (humidifier) 57
Temps:
CFL only 70*
Tubes only 85*
have not tried out the HPS or Sodium

Nutes: (for grow)
2 Tblsp FF Happy Frog 8-2-6 lawn fertilizer / Gal mix
1 Tblsp Lime / Gal mix
1/2 cup worm casting / Gal mix

With your experience do you think this will work for a decent grow??? 6 plants expecting 1/2 oz each = 3 oz every 3mo. if I start cloning??? (have a separate grow clone cabinet (all stealth)

Thanks for any and all input.
Have you grown anything similar or do you know of anyone who has?

Thanks........"MIGHTBESTONED"

Yes, for that size space they should work. However, seeing the tubes-only temps I think that once you try firing up any HID in there it's going to become very, very hot.

Also, I thought sphagnum was peat moss. :dunno:

Happy hippying!

Hey bud, posted in your other thread regarding your questions on the grow and just got your PM. I can't respond because of the newbie status. Once you get to 50 posts it opens up the inbox for more PM's. If you surf around the forums in some of the picture threads and make posts you should get to 50 really quick.

Oh and your nute mix should work fine since your on a budget grow. Top drip works well. One of my buddies does that in coco and waters them twice a day I believe. I'm going to see him this weekend so I'll ask him and get back to you.

Hey man welcome to ICM From the sound of it you have 1 hps and 2 sodium vapor lamps or low pressure sodium. The sodium vapor bulbs are not great for growing. The spectrum

Is not good for growing plants because chlorophyll absorbs at these wavelengths

You can see most of the light produced is not usable.
