I popped a group of beans last month and have already let go of the first wave.
I held back afew of the really really compact plants that I liked, and kept them under low lighting with a blue spectrum, 420/460nm dual spectrum power compacts of 18 watts.

One of the smallest PVxs dropped its primary leaves on the 6th, 3 days after a transplant and I figured it from mechanical damage of the swap. I checked it our today and the lowest set of leaves arent lookin good.
Yellowing from outside edges in, slight tip burn look on lower leaves, and the worst affected leaf is curling downwards.

Let me give you a synopsis of my treatment of this gal...
She has been hand watered, Im keeping her under lower blue spectrum lighting of 18 watts to keep her smaller, I want the wheather to warm a bit before I harden her off under the halides and HPs in my garage, preppering her for the outdoors.
I noticed the yellowing just before transplant, she was in a coke bottle bottom, but her roots were allready at all sides and the bottom so I upgraded her tainer.
Since then her lowest set of leave yellowed, then dropped...I suspect it was from the swap and I had mashed em.
Not the new lowest set is yellowing and withering, it was from the inside out and is now looking splotchy since I flushed. Another set of leaves has what almost looks like burn. Since I noticed that I just decided to flush and see how it progesses. That was yesterday. I added about 1 large glass of water for her over a period of 20 mins. I think I already Fd up so Im here...= P
Here are some shots, I suspect afew things but would like other opinoin as she is very special to me. I have some backups but they are still beans.
Any insight or opinions are more than appreciated, if I left out anything let me know and Ill get it up asap. Almost forgot, this is my first run with the Roots Organics, its ironic that this is also my first time with seedling issues of this type outta god knows how many beans...go figure. Oh, I took the pics with daylight, my flash is busted on my rebel.

Pests? Watered the leaves or they touched the wet soil? You said you flushed, when was the last time you fed them and what is the ph runoff please?

no pests as stated
I have no clue oif what you mean by waterd the leaves?
The ph runnoff is 6.9, but im doubting my ec meter, Ill be using a slifert low range ph test kit tonight, much more accurate.

Im dying here....lol.

Hound, your pms are off.....
I just checked the runoff again with some spa dip strips (I know ghetto) and the PH is below 6 from thier readings. Im going to dump my res that I take my water from and start fresh. In the mean time, anyone here have ideas on the issues by looks? Ive never seen consistent yellowing go blotchy so fast.....

Sorry I'll be more clear. Did you spill water on the leaves in question at some point and they dried that way? That can burn your leaves. Or if you leaves sat on the dirt for awhile while the dirt was wet.....that could also lead to the leaves developing a problem.

Get your ph straightened out......I think that's your main issue.....how ofen are you watering? And you're pretty sure the ph is under 6.0 in soil? Ouch. 6.9 would be less ouch for soil.

Do change out your water.....is it tap or ? But I'd get a ph meter you trust for your future.

Thanks for the info.
As I suspecte dmy ph meter was out of whack. Even thoguh it appeared to calibrate correctly, within a few minuts of setting it it was off be 1.2!!!! so my ph was too low, lol. I yanked my constant reef monitor out of storage and threw some new probes on it, everything is looking tits again. I thought Ild let you know it got all straightned out. The gal in question is now happily on her way to pumping out more children....:joint:
