Thought it needed it.
I started playing at around 11, and joined my first band at 17.
Set lists included Aerosmith, Stevie Wonder, Joe Walsh, James Gang, Fucking REO Speed wagon (!), Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Outlaws, Riders of the Purple Sage,
Pat Travers, Deep Purple (loved doing Highway Star and Burn) Jimi, Johnny Winter, Jeff Beck, Etc...Etc...
Jumped into fusion listening to Mahavishnu, Dregs, Miles, etc...
Still play: every couple of days, but been listening to Joe Bonamassa, who likes all the same stuff, and is incredible. Saw him a year ago and he blew eveyonr away. Very sincere guitarist.
Anyway, looking forward to hearing you musicians who are old farts give your stories, and maybe even hearing some stuff.
