Old Barneys Farm Blue Cheese

I used to have a bomb blue cheese from barneys id say 2010ish i didnt keep unfortunately as we tend to do from time to time lol. Tried to order it again and was completely different. I understand now the dutch breeders cycle through new parental stock all the time. I seen recently that other people had some good success with seed from that stock. Does anyone here any experience with it?

Everything changes over time. If you get some of their seed stock you will be glad you did. They have been around for a while and seem to know what they are doing. Get some seed and get cracking. Keep us posted.

Yeah im always popping seeds, not any dutch stuff, recently sucks.

I am a big fan of barneys, they have a nice selection and they have been the most consistent breeder ive grown. Ive seen better genetics but imho barneys is one of the better widely available ones out there


I did have a barneys blue cheese, but unfortunately it didnt pop. It was on my second grow and i was only purchasing single seeds at the time

That blue cheese i had from them was fire and my friends still talk about it, i also was buying single seeds at the time and had 2 phenos very similar didnt really matter which one i kept. I grew a pineapple chunk from them around the same time that was good also. Last strain i grew from barneys about 2 years ago, Mimosa Evo, i think about 4 seeds all plants were very similar big and chunky just not my kinda smoke and not enough bag appeal for production either.

Barneys is probably from the top down my favorite breeder. Great photos and quality autos. Not world class autos but certainly good enough.

The Do Si Dos 33 was probably the best plant from them ive had. Great in every way. Wish i had taken some clones off her.

On the opposite end of the spectrum the tangerine dream was AWFUL. Terrible right out of the gate. It fell over on her face as a seedling and i dont think it ever recovered. I domt know if it was that or just a bad plant. Great smoke though.
