Im looking at getting the 9 bag 5 gal kit from okief.com
Anyone have experience with these and how they compare to bubble bags (besides being about $40 less and having a 9th bag)...

I've got the 4 bag set and only use the 220, 90, 25. the 90 and 73 are just to close together to get anything in the 73. It really needs a 160 bag to clean up the trash a bit, but all in all they make pretty good hash and seem durable. Just remember you only get out what you put in.......

Don't forget the free spoon! LOL, Pothead i couldn't agree more about the 90 and 73, they are very close. Last time i ran mine, and forgive my bad memory, i do remember that one bag (90 or 73) had 95% more than the other. One of those bags was almost empty. Nice pics btw

I think the perfect set to make the best hash would be 220, 160, 120, 73, 25, I couldnt see any reason to run 9 bags at once, run the 5 I listed from the 9 bag set and you should make some killer hash. BTW hand stir dont use a mixer and your quality will increase.

Chief - I've noticed the same thing, heh, comforting to know I'm not the only one. I do question the use of the 90. My 90 sometimes has less than the 73. Very odd, I've got to find out why.... LOL

70s - Right on. That would be all you need for great stuff. I might add the 45, but mostly to keep the 25 from getting so clogged. The additional bags would be only for seperating the different grades even finer. You do get some different tastes and such, but whether its worth it or not is up to you.

Hand stirring - clearly the best quality.
