well, this is pretty embaressing(sp?) but here it goes...

i smoke between an 8th and a 1/4oz a day, i ran out of herb like 2 hours ago and i cant get anymore till at least early afternoon tommorow. im already really uncomfortable, and im trying not to think about it. but all i want to do is smoke weed... all i ever do is smoke lol, its the only thing evens me out, im all over the place without, ive been trying to write a paper for over an hour and i cant get shit done cause i cant concentrate, and i know im gonna feel like shit tommorow morning in class.... grr

anyway, sorry for the rant..

Unless your a heavy med user, an 8th a day is gonna put you well past your point of diminishing returns.....I know when I used to smoke that much, smoking towards the end of the day was more of just something to do than actually 'getting high'....after the 3rd or 4th smoke of the day I can't imagine you are getting much out of it?

I too was 'addicted' for awhile, I didn't realize it until I couldn't afford the habit anymore. It's not so much the high that's addictive, it's the time it fills. By the time you pack the bowl, find your lighter, smoke the bowl and clear it you've killed a good chunk of the day. Not to mention how easy time flows when you're baked.

My suggestion, don't pick up that bud tomorrow. Take a week off, it may be the lousiest week of your life, but at least you know you can do it and a drug doesn't have you by the balls. Not to mention, how good that bud'll taste after a nice little break. Like coming home from a week long business trip to fuck your wife.

I'm assuming that you got your herb, but I'm with these guys. Your weed costs more per day than my coke habit(when I had one). I mean..if you can afford it, then I guess it's all up to you. Honestly, I can imagine that after smoking that much weed everyday, that you were probably really jonesing. But I can also imagine that after smoking that much weed everyday, you have plenty of pipe resin/kif/roaches/carpet buds left over. I know that alot of people on here don't like scraping pipes & stuff, but there aint no shame in my game.
