OK fertalizer question, are these ferts ok?

M

marguzz22

ÒKey here are the ferts i am going to use , i tought i ask if they are ok?!

For veging im planning to use Schultz plant food for acid loving plants the ratio is 32-10-10 , is this suitable and good?

or other option is some fert with npk 6,9 - 1,6- 3

wich is better?I tend to think that schultz , because its a known firm and the ratio seems ok?Im just worried about the part that says "acid loving"

for flowering schultz bloom 10 -56-10 , this seems good right? Im worried with this that it has too much P , but its ok i quess?

PS: These ferts have no Mg in them , so i need to use epsom solts also, just to be shure that no Mg def. would come? How much you reccomend.

PS: If you dont know, dont put foward answers that are not right ( if you dont grow and know a shit)

the flowering ferts has a bit too less N in my tought , is this right?Or should I be ok....cause ilooked from grow faq the reccomended ratios were veg: 5-2-3 and flowerin 5-5-3

You will burn the ever loving shit outta those plants with those npk numbers...try a 20-20-20 at 1/2tsp/gal for starters working up to 1tsp/gal during the end of veg. Then switch to a 15-30-15 for bloom using the same process. Then flush with clean water starting at week 7 of bloom to leach out the chemicals.

Think so ?Hmm...Fuck sake i have to waste money again on new ferts then...The

15-30-15 you reccomended ,thats too less P dont you think so?cause the acutall p in there is 30x0,44 = 13,2 thats even less than N ,too much N ?

MORE ANSWERS!!!!!! Wtf , why dpnt we have this discussion going on in here - are there just too few members who know anything or is this forum just inactive."""""""""""2

Really though..even the NPK I mentioned is fairly hot..esp for indoor plants and the particular strain you're growing will also dictate how much you use.Mj just does'nt need the big npk numbers to grow well...don't get caught up in the bigger is better idea. Some sativas require very little nutes compaired to heavy afghanis or Indicas. So knowing what you have will also be very beneficial.Start all seedlings and clones in a nice low npk seedling mix. oNCE they are established and growing well, introduce a mild mix of low npk and see how they react. If you read about Organic soils..you can make a mixture that will get you through veg. with little or No ferts until bloom. Then you can play around with chemicals..That is really the main phase of growth were they really use the fertalizer.Just remember all ferts will burn regardless of chem. or organic composition.Fertalizer is just one aspect of growing healthy plants..water,ph,lights,odor control, air flow,bugs,secrecy,ect.ect. all need to be taken into account.I would rank Air-flow and proper environmental temperature right up toward the top of the list for importance..if you can Master you're environment you'll be Golden...Good luck..Hope this helps!!!

If you are going to use them start them off at half strength. Chemical ferts can burn plants fairly easily. Once a week is more then enough also. It wouldnt be a bad idea to get some foxfarm growbig for vegging and tigerbloom for flowering when you can...

Space Ghost

pick up some alaskan fish emulsion 5-1-1 for veg and early flower then switch to alaskan more bloom 0-10-10 in middle and late flower, with a little 5-1-1 from time to time to keep things nice and green.

both of these products are cheap and easy to find (about $5 a bottle)

I know the fish shit is organic-it is high in heavy metals but that is not an issue for me.

I amen after all, you can take the organics thing to an extreme as with everything else.

Like the man said-AFE and AMB in varying concentrations with get you through from early veg to harvest.

no you dont want to use any fertilizers for acid loving plants, the ph is too low and will cause problems. if your looking for some cheap reliable fertilizer try to find some peters 20-20-20, they sell it at lowes.

we aint got shit like that in here , first of im in europe - we do have chicken shit + seaweed , but thats organic and not fast i quess...

And anoter question : how much lime do you add to neutralise the ph?I might do that for some sequirity reasons....Also i noticed the ferts have no mg in them , should i add some mg now from epsom salts or wait untill i see some yellowing?2

the organic chicken shit +seaweed is with npkk N 4,0 %

(P) 1,2 %
(K) 2,0 %
(Cu) 0,01 %
(Fe) 0,10 %
(Mn) 0,04 %
(Zn) 0,02 %
