Ohenry's Grow *Sharon-BI-MM* HC-Crosses

This will be the spot for my new grow thread. My camera is broken right now and in the process of being fixed. This grow thread will consist of the Sharon beauty I have in flower along with the BlackIndiglow (Rmemeber this one Blue). I've also started some of Sag's Manatuska Mist. These are rock hard nuggets. I flower these right from seed. The The Sharon was a gift from a friend.

Hot Cargo has given me many crosses so I am using this grow to find some pheno's worth keeping! Some Schrom crosses should be intersting! Ill have more updates soon along with a full group of pictures.

My Schrom mother and ECSD mothers are doiong excellent. I just topped them last week and this kick started there growing! More to come...

Everything is going GREAT!!!

The seedlings are all excellent except for one of the BTxWW. IT appears I may lose it but I will hold on until the last breathe.

The two mothers I am holding now are stable and showing great signs of growth. My intentions are to grow out the ECSD and Schrom, clone and root four-five new girls, keep one mom, and veg the clones along with the seedlings, until they are all-together ready to be flowered. I am hoping to end up with about 8-12 girls when it's all said and done. The vegging will allow an easier clone-to-root-to-veg transition. This was something I could not do on the previous girls. I took one clone from the Sharon but will have to wait six weeks or so until I can stabilize her and begin to clone from her weeks following that.

The Sharon has about 25-29 days left. Jimmy told me 54 days was about what he cut his at so after getting to CC I will determine the right timing based on both opinions. The buds are completely COVERED with trichs. I'm almost as excited about the hash I'll be making with the cuttings and some lower buds!!!

The Mist is growing some golfsize nugs that are as heard as rocks. First time I've seen this type of formation! I'm stoked. Heard it was a real creeper. The BI have a real fruity smell. Reminicent of the Big Money buds CC had.

After finally figuring my watering/feeding schedules I've begun a new way of watering that I think has worked well to this point. I'd like everyone's opinion.

What I'll do is pretty simple but I think it may help in the nute uptake.

On feeding days I will begin by watering lightly. I imagine the water travelling down 3/4 of the pot (relative to height) and stopping after being absorbed. Next, after waiting 10 or so minutes, what I'll do is take a concentrated mix of nutrients and feed the plant. This water will be 1/2 of the amount of the water added in the first step. Finally more fresh water equalling as much as the feed solution.

For example:

1.) 1/2 gallon of water
...wait 10 or so mintues
2.) 1/4 gallon w/ feed solution
...water right after.
3.) 1/4 gallon of water

My thoughts are that the first water will losen the soil, soften the roots system, soften crystalized mineral deposits and allow the feed to be easily taken up through the roots. This has also helped to easily reduce any over-watering do to feed/h20 mixes. I've found that I have to feed less. I dunno. Seems to be working great! LAter OH

Alright everyone! I got good news. I got a NEW camera. I took my broken G6 to Best Buy and had them take it back. They weren't going to replace it but I told them I would gladly upgrade as my desire to take photos has grown and grown. I'm the pround new owner of a Canon Digital SLR EOS Rebel XT 8meg! Oh yes. This thing has got some CRAZY features. I will be learning all over again! I'm so excited. It has the same interface as the G6 so shouldn't be that hard.

The Sharon is kicking ass. Yellowing is kicking in as I have stopped feeding it. With only 18 days left! I can't wait.

My seedlings are doing alright. I have neglected them with work and I will have to catch them back up with whats going on. Pictures are around the corner! Ill be sure to have a TON!

Man you got a killer camera there OH. Could you possibly enlighten me to the traits of the Sharon, such as growth, height, taste, resin production, strength,etc? I've heard of this plant but haven't heard much details.
