Oh' Shi... What wrong

Sorry, just thought we needed a Oh' shi... Thread for us newbies.

Really though, I've got a leaf/definicy/or mold/mildew or bug issue. I know pix would be nice but can't find the cam. Will keep looking.

So on the tips of some of my leaves they have turned real dark almost black. Some are floppy wile others are dried out. I think I see a light white power on the leaves. Wipes off just like smoke ashes. I'm running a sulfur pot and treated them for Powdery Mildew. Yeah, I hear it's a bitch to get rid of if that's my prob. Done a little research and came up with a possible Magnesium deficiency. Bought call mag to address this possibly.

It's not the systems I use, I've got dirt and hydro both going in the same room. Dirt is almost done so not to worried about that but the hydro is still 5 weeks away. Really don't want to loose it. Oh also different strains so it's not that. So WTF. I so hope it's not mildew.

I'll keep looking for the cam. Hope to find it soon so you can see and tell me it's not mildew.

Thanks All

Coffee let me tell you something that has saved me a lot of time and money in growing. Instead of stumbling around trying to figure out what deficiency you have and what additive to get to fix it, just start fresh and get a nutrient that is complete with ALL 16 essential nutrients. Flush you shit, get some Dyna-Gro, and watch your troubles melt away. NO JOKE. The problem comes from how incomplete most base nutrients are. There are 16 essential nutrients and most base nutes dont have them all. Dyna-Gro is known to be great at correcting deficiencies because it has the minerals that other brands lack. Not to mention it is a one part formula meaning it is SUPER easy to use. Seriously, get some Grow, Bloom, Pro-teKt and Mag-Pro and you will have the easiest most effective nutrient lineup available. Seriously though, doesn't it make sense? Instead of trying to figure out what your plants are lacking just switch to a nutrient that will fix the problem, NO MATTER WHAT THEY ARE LACKING.

First off , Sorry about posting in the wrong area.

Second, High country, I'm running both dirt and hydro almost side by side. This is what gives more claim to a fungus problem, although, I may have good news! (kind of) I found some more power on a few leaves... So, I scoped it, and for sure it was not PM. It was spider mite eggs. I understand spider mites or at least how to keep them at bay so a bit relieved. I'm a neem'n Mother Fuc...er among other, things I am.

Yeah, I'd like to believe it was just mites. But doesn't explain the random wilting/dieing and the occasionally rusty leaves. I probably have a few problems. And one may be the Nutes. like Canabisolagy pointed out. Running House and Garrden...I thought I wouldn't have any problems with nutes. ( Thanks for you time Canabisolagy)

After Freezerboy posted that I was in the wrong section I just felt like a Dumb Ass. Especially once I looked around the http://www.icmag.com/ic/forumdisplay.php?f=83 section section and realized my answers were somewhere in there. Of'course, I can't give myself enough time to find the answers, well because I have no time (two full time jobs now) and or I get lost on other post that are just way to freaking interesting to pass up. I'll get the hang of this and try to start reading more before I post, posts that have already been answered somewhere else.

Thankx for putting up with this newbie,
Coffeepot

Ok so we get it you like dyna gro cause its simple enough for you to grow with.... that's nice. As for tearing apart other members that's just not right. And hes right if you want to Grow and spend no money id go look into the organic gardening section. But warning a brain, a thirst for knowledge, and new ideas is a must with dealing with the people of the black hands.
