I thought she was a female but i think she threw some balls. I need some confirmation here. Help? If we all agree, then i need to know what to do with Her/Him. I should get it out of the grow room and clean it with bleach? Luckly, i only just started my cycle and these two were the first in my box.

can you say hermie. i had a hermie in my last grow and i thought i would just cut off the balls and it would be ok. wrong. the freaking heshe seeded all my ladies. talk about pist. kill that freak!!!

IT's Jock Horror from Nirvana. So i am left with one female so far from five. What a shame. I guess that's the name of the game. I gave the, girl/guy, away just a few hours ago! Thanks everyone. So i shouldn't have to sterilize my enviroment right? I just found the BALLS today. I think it was about two or three days ago that i last checked. I heard some where that a male seed can mature and pollenate within 24hours??

There are a lot of different types of hermie flowers non of them are good. Some plants will product true male and female flowers and this type of hermie can pollenate other plants in your garden.

That being said it looks from the pic that you have a female flower with pistils that also has male parts inside the flower. This type of hermie will only produce 1 seed inside the female flower and the male pollen may not even emerge from inside the female flower.

So to recap a hermie plant can produce both true male and female flowers separately and these are the most harmful potentially. The other type of hermie like yours have combined flowers that start out female but also have male parts inside, so you only end up with one seed per mutated female flower. But it is best to keep an eye on it. If you have lots of plants then it may be better just to remove the plant, if its the only plant you have then let it go knowing you will have a few seeds.

Its a judgement call really!

Unfortunatlly Shrike, There seemed to be more than one per flower. IT looked a bit vigourous. So i gave it away last night. Though don't have that many plants in the garden now, i plan on throwing clones in there real soon. So better to be safe. Here's a quik pic of the only survivor so far from the Five Jocks.
