OGK's 50lb Med-Crop

So like the title says, this season my goal is 50lbs. Currently in the process of hanging lights up outdoors. I'm on a pretty thin budget entirely bootstrapped from cash I saved up mowing lawns since I was a young boy, so the lights will be CFL's and the plants will be in 25 gallon geo-pots filled with a mix of Promix BF, Black Gold and perlite. Plants are currently vegging indoors in 4inch pots being fed 6/9, once they are in the 25g they will be hit with teas until the Aptus Baseboost in the pots breaks down, at which point it will be pure well water and the occasional foliar thru veg. 40 total plants in 25g containers.

Planning to veg all plants until June 1st in the 25g containers, at which point the lights will be taken down and the plants will flower under the natural light hours under strong summer sunlight.

In the full season garden the strains will be;
Sour D (local clone) 7x
Blue Dream (local clone) 5x
GG#4 5x
GG4 S1s 6x
Adub x Tres Dawg IX x2
Daywrecker x Appalachia 1x
Tres Dawg IX 1x
Big E OG (fem seeds) 10x
GDP x Fire Alien Master 1x
Bodhi's Prayer Tower 1x
GDP x Prayer Tower 1x

Also doing smaller plants in 10 gallon pots throughout the property that will go out intermittently throughout the season, probably in packs of 10. The strains will be;

Dubtech7 x Tres Dawg IX
Adub x Tres Dawg IX
Valley OG x Tres Dawg IX
Purple Elephant Stomper x GG4 (reversed)
Cannalope Haze x GG4 (reversed)

I don't have much to show for the full season trees, so just so my thread doesn't start out looking lame here are some plants currently flowering outdoors for our spring crop :)

Man those are some real nice varieties you got there. Good looking colors in that first pic for sure. Hope to see some pics of the next crop soon, cheers.

Thank you guys, I am really hyped and hopeful for this season, trying to cover all my bases with what is an admittedly limited budget.. To hopefully come out the other side sittin pretty.

Aptus Baseboost is a granular organic fertilizer that (from their description and hearing so from others) will give the plant everything it needs nutritionally for 2-3 months. A one part granular. I saw it give a homie good results last season and its ABSOLUTELY the cheapest option for feeding the entire grow when compared to anything in a bottle. Foxfarm Nutrients which was the original plan came out to like $600 a month when I was planning and pricing everything out - so I decided to go with the Aptus after seeing a few people have awesome success with it. This gives me more money to work with foliars, thinking about picking up some Aptus foliars as well as a Triacontanol product for foliar feeds.. As always they'll be getting hit once a week with Triact70/Ic3 essentria oil either together or separately.

Hopefully some magic happens, we'll see. I'm stoked either way.

Thinking about upping my foliar feed, what do you guys like for foliars? Be back next time with sweaty 70s porno bush shots

Foilar feeding sucks. Most experts Ive talked to will agree.
I dont spray anything on my plants except bug preventatives in veg.

So there was about a 20 day delay in getting these girls outdoors, life circumstance had me handling problems away from home so the garden got a bit neglected out the door... But thats not to worry, cuz who gives a fuck about 20 days anyways? Lets just leave supplemental lighting on for another 20 days and not sweat it.

Here is a few pics of my hybrid AlphaPup. I couldn't be more excited about the way its turning out, before the little bit of reveg the extending light hours brought on she was a DEAD RINGER for Adub as far as nug structure went..

ADUBB x TRES DAWG IX

And yes, I noticed I cropped the pic a tad tall lol

And here's the bush shots I promised, they're from 10 days ago and everything has definitely lurched forward at least another 10% in size since then, if not more on some phenos.. I think I might hit or at least very close to my goal, but don't want to jinx myself... So I'm throwing out another ~35 plants in 10 gallon pots to cover my ass in case I fall short.

That shorty up front right is the smallest plant out there and even she is bushing out generously now that things are established. I made the mistake of putting out bushes under full sun that had been t5 vegging, some of them got BURNED to shit but are all bounced back and healthy now :)

til next time
