Anyone have experience with this strain? At 8 weeks it doesn't seem done but it's starting to herm. It probably was heat stressed so I've picked off a few male flowers that I found before they opened. Most OG takes 10 weeks, when does this one finish? Thank You mym

are they from seeds? or a clone only? If they are from seeds there could be wide phenotypic variation and as a result the finishing times will vary. Just check the tric. color...

OG Kush x Master, They were clones but didn't all seem the same, it seemed like 3 pairs, 2 small bushy ones. 2 medium and 2 tall. Trichs don't look ready, it would be nice to have a target to base the flush on.

I would just assume 10 weeks. Test smaller buds along the way but take it to 10, then you will know.

10 weeks will do it. Because OG takes about 10 weeks and Master is quicker.
So 10 weeks it will definatly be done.
I've smoked some Master OG from the clubs once and it was real good.
It tasted like Master kush with an OG backround.

FYI, there were 2 plants 1 in soil 1 in hydro and the hydro is way more potent and tastier. My soil was not good- too heavy and too much uncontrolled nutes in the mix. I think the 1 in soil could have gone another week...I know I could improve the soil but I'm done experimenting, all new growth will be in Hydro!

Probably not enough air in the soil like you said.
Soil ussually takes a little longer then hydro.
If you can grow in hydro well.
I'd stick with it because it's usually much harder.

don't be afraid of the HARDNESS it won't hurt LOL. Actually I think it's easier because...
I was manually watering every plant Hydro (3x/day or more) & Soil and I want an automated system, soil is harder and messier to automate with drip, a 4x4 ebb & flow tray with plants in expanded clay and individual containers is the plan. Now it's easy, check ppm, pH, top off tank and change it every 2-3 weeks, before I had to watch all this individually for every plant.
Soil is too easy to overwater and then you have to wait days for everything to dry out to get some air to the roots. In the meantime it doesn't grow.
Real soil has it's own nutrients ( as opposed to a soiless mix ) and therefore it is hard to control what the plants actually get. Soil acts like a buffer so when over fertilized it just takes longer for the burn to show, maintaining ppm in soil is hard. Flushing is hard. The only thing I see that is easier about soil is for a manual system you can possibly wait a couple days between waterings. Just my experience...Forget the Aero and NFT, they are more trouble than they are worth, rockwool is like soil and can be overwatered, stick with ebb & flow expanded clay, cycle every 3 hours and you'll never go back to soil. I have a Bubba in soil and 1 in hydro, the difference in size is amazing, the hydro leaf fingers are 2x as fat and the roots are busting out the bottom of the pot. With Bubba if it gets root bound or over fertilized, the leaves start growing twisted instead of laying flat, I thought it was a small plant the first time I grew it but actually it is beefy like the governator!

So if you want control hydro is the way to go.
