doing up several strain in soil ffog and growing out a skywalker og hybrid, its seems to want the mag , getting intervienal yellowing at the tops, been giving extra cal/mag from humboldt
sea cal and sea mag.
also on other strains the searrated leaves are yellowing on the very edges.
I'm in a seal Co2 enviroment.
i have another gro site w/o Co2 and the OGs are not having the probs as the ones in Co2.

this is my 1st run with co2 so wondering if the plants metabolism is running in hi gear and they need more nutes?
my average feed is 700-800 daily 4x then water.
i hit em @1400ppm last wed with extra cal/mag but no change.
I'm in 3rd week of 12/12.
some of the OG buds, the most yellowed, aren't even forming pistils.
do OGs in co2 need xtra specific nutes in general?

I'll get pics later today

Seems u like there's nute burn and a lock. 1400ppm seems a lot in soil for OG's. So I doubt it's a lack of nutrient. Whats ur temp, RH% and CO2 ppm level in ur room? Do u run CO2 24/7?

hi lamb-bread, Co2 is 900ppm lites on, it never goes on at nite because the plants dump the excess Co2.
3wks in bloom now and Rh id 58-65.
that will come down more
temps around 75
i do a basic rez 6/9 feed at around 700ppm,
and really 500 of that is actual fertz, liquid karma and others sups add ppms but aren't heavy duty fertz
I hit em 2 times in the last 2 wks, once @1150ppm and 1400ppm to see if it was an actual def. and they would green up
but they didn't respond...
I'm starting to suspect a lock out in the works also.... :chin:

its the OGs that are really acting up, other strains show lite symptoms compared to them.
about 1/2 the room shows no signs.

I didn't know if Ogs were sensitive or hogs to certain nutes

OG are indeed sensitive in soil. Maybe a flush with ph'd water since the strong nutes haven't solved the pb, and shows tips burns. Try to see what's the ph of ur soil, test the run off too if u have any. Could be a lock indeed, seems like K lock.

Any of this make sens to you?

The causes for a cannabis plant to lack potassium can be grouped in three category:

Insufficient or incorrect fertilisation
The cultivation is on soil that fixes calcium.
Excessive ‘table salt’(sodium) in the root environment.

Try to flush and test the run off, or water as usual and test run off for both PH and EC.

ok, just got back,
I found got my kelway soil Ph meter and my soil Ph is @5.0 :noway:
its no wonder everything isn't showing signs of something wrong.
but its making sense to me now.

I used a new soil mix, 50/50 FFOF and started adding promix
even tho the manf. say the FFOF and PM is Ph'd already I always add 2 tbs per gall.

doesn't matter if they say it's already Ph'd
by the time you get into mid bloom the salt fertz are working on the soils PH and its always down regardless.
ive never had a low Ph prob w/soil in 4 yrs adding 2tbs per gallon.
and ProMix is peat which is pretty acidic by its self.
i used propmix in my oct run with no probs adding 2tbs lime.
i upped the amount of PM this last run and used a new brand of dolo/lime
thats the only thing i did different and now i have Ph probs

I got some dolomitic lime, mixed it with water and hit the ladies up

bet I see good things in the next few days:joint:

so you hit the nail on the head LB with the soil PH :smoke:
