If the origin of Bubba is OG x Bubblegum, then you are absolutely correct. Having grown all of the aforementioned strains, however, I am hard pressed to see Bubba being the offspring of this parentage. The smell, the taste, and the high are totally dissimilar, as well.

growmatic - no way in hell is bubba master kush x bubble gum, just no way in hell. That was just one of those internet rumors, not going to get into the politics of it all, but that was just a line for someone to try to claim ownership and them being the originator of the strain.

You're right.... Chemdawg (aka Snowdog, Headband, the Dog, and Chemdog) is one of the parents of OG. Interestingly enough, Chemdawg also spawned East Coast Sour Diesel. Check out the latest HT for an interesting article about Chemdawg... sounds like it's basically "the" elite strain.
By the way, excellent cross, Katsu!
You made a great choice in parents and another great choice in using femed pollen - it makes it easier to find your favorite female since they'll all be girls or mutants. Awesome!
EDIT: I misread that HT article... looks like OG Kush (IS) Chemdawg... people renamed it as it changed hands and made it's way west. Chemdawg is a parent of Kush... not OG Kush.

YES YES YES that's a spectacular idea. You've tested one now and it looks f'in great... the chances that you just happened to test the one and only "goodie" are zero in my opinion... in fact, the best have yet to be discovered (most likely). You'd be safe as well as very pleased to dedicate your next round to those beans... and I hope we all get to see it!!
I have a cross very similiar to yours that I hope to play around with soon... it doesn't involve Kush but it's comprised of femed pollen from a really special female crossed with an elite sativa that my friends and I consider to be out of this world... seeing your pics makes me wanna sprout a couple of mine but unfortunately I'm not in a position where I can right now. Have to share with a couple friends and live vicariously through them (and you lol) for the moment. But your work has turned out SO NICE that I can't help but expect something sweet&special from my femed cross too.
Get that next round going and make a new thread out of it.... we're all waiting!!

As far as genetics go, it was my understanding that OG and Sour Diesel were both sired by The Dog cut - I don't believe that the Bubba is related to either of these, although I suppose it's possible.
